Just left this place totally disappointed. We had a reservation for about 11 people for a birthday dinner. To start off, we were seated at tables that were super low, we had to crouch over to eat. When we asked to have regular tables we were told we couldn't because they were reserved. No one went to those tables during the duration of our time there. Difficult to eat and totally un-accommodating. When taking our orders the waitress talked to all my friends in Spanish and then I guess assumed I didn't speak Spanish because I'm light-skinned. Would've rather she spoke to me the same way she spoke to them (all of us speak English as well) and then find out if I knew Spanish...or just speak to all of us in English? From the time we ordered to when we got our meals it took a bit over an hour. This is crazy because there was only one other big party there and not many people in there in general. I was the third person to get my food, my rice was cold and then I had to sit there peeling shrimp when usually these come pre-peeled, at least at every restaurant I've been to, so this was new for me to experience. On top of this my boyfriend never received his meal of Quesobirria so that was another 20min of waiting for his food, we had somewhere to be after dinner so we ordered it to go. We got home and realized she didn't even pack the birria broth or at least notify us that it wasn't packable. Waitress didn't even offer an apology nor a discount for the inconvenience. She also then talked to me in Spanish to me after I told her my boyfriend was paying (he in fact does NOT speak Spanish so I had to translate the price). She also didn't even know what I ordered meanwhile I have the ONE plate sitting on the table with the shrimp skins on it. As we were waiting for our friends to finish paying we notice our friend didn't click a tip option and we see the waitress click the button to tip herself. Like no shame at all. Customer service was overall terrible, food was average at most and I just left there feeling totally disrespected by everything.

Terrible all around. We really appreciate the bartender. Because of her efforts we didn't end up just walking out the first 10 minutes. Have you ever been to a place and you just wanted to get out of there as fast as you can? 0 for service. The server just wanted to be on her phone. 20 minutes all she did was drop off water. We ended up going to the bar to order food. 0 for management. The owners were physically there and here I am writing a zero review. They opted for drinking at the bar and showing the server videos on their phone instead, as if the service needed distraction. To add insult to injury, they literally interrupted the bartender in the middle of her task while she's running my card to show her a video. 0 for food. It's like they want it to be a club but they were forced into putting a kitchen. Everything we had was bought frozen or pre-made. Elote was still cold from the inside. Papa's bravas are literally home fries Frozen. You just fried them. Birria had so much oregano in it. The burger was the least creative thing I've ever seen, but it was the most delicious item we ordered. 0 for atmosphere. They decided that they want to up the volume from 20 to about 60 at 9:22 p.m. another owner didn't like that, he went from 60 to about 90 at 9:40. No one wants to have his meal with a side of base. The conversation on the table went to literally zero. We simply couldn't hear each other. My suggestion is hire somebody that knows what they're doing.

If you're looking for a great dining experience, Tabu is the place to be! This Mexican-inspired restaurant features a modern design that captures the essence of Mexican culture, making it a fun spot to enjoy a meal. What truly makes Tabu special is the fantastic service. Our host and waiter, Orlando, was the highlight of our visit. His attention to detail and genuine passion for providing a great experience were evident from the very beginning. Orlando was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and making sure everything was perfect. His friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. The food at Tabu was delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Every bite was a treat! In conclusion, Tabu is a restaurant that shines in every way, from its inviting atmosphere to its wonderful service. Orlando's exceptional hospitality really made our visit special. I highly recommend checking out Tabu—it's definitely a 5 out of 5 stars experience!

Truly, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I should’ve known that things were gonna go way south when we arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation and the host said sit anywhere. The seating in the restaurant is not conducive for a good conversation as they hardly have any tables that you can look across to anyone at it’s more this crazy booth set up. When I asked if we could have two chairs moved over the booth, the server seemed annoyed that she would have to move anything. As our friends arrived things got worse. We ordered some simple guacamole and either they forgot it or they had to go down to the local store to get avocados, it took that long. Upon ordering food which took forever to get servers attention they took our orders then promptly forgot two parts of meal we were expecting and then on top of that our friends meal came out cold! Our own food came out lukewarm and then the kitchen forgot the tortillas on both of our entrées. Lastly, they had two people to service a restaurant and the time we were there there was about only 25 people in the restaurant. However, one server was acting as a bartender and also serving and so drink service also took forever, and then on top of that when the other server stepped in to make drinks, they were horrible and we had to send them back. I honestly would never recommend this place to anyone, it was embarrassing to my wife that we had brought our good friends there for what we expected to be a wonderful dining experience....
