I hate giving 1star to any Resturent as they work very hard to provide world class experience to their customer. But I am so much disappointed with the service and food that I am bound to give max 1star to the Restaurant. I read previous customers review and I know the owner will reply in a very rude way, that’s her choice but I am not afraid of saying truth just because I will get rude response.
Let’s start with review:
Ambiance: Very basic. Food Flavour and taste: Not upto the mark. Aloo paratha usually comes with potato filled but potato was missing in aloo paratha. It was hard to find potato filling in aloo paratha. If someone not specify you will not able to distinguish garlic naan and aloo paratha. It’s better to call it paratha with just touch of potato.
Kulche is another height, I think they should try other india Resturent before naming there dishes.
BTW, paratha or kulche does not comes with Raita or pickle. I can understand raita is not served as it is a side dish in menu but pickle… Seriously, even pickle is not served with paratha or kulche. Even on street of India you will get free pickle with paratha and kulche.
Dal makhni: It’s big NO. Definitely you can cook better dal makhni than what you will get in this restaurant.
Paneer tikka Masala: Another disaster dish in menu to avoid. It come with 7 small piece of cotton cheez (paneer). Literally 7 small pieces only I was so frustrated that I counted it as it was not visible in serving bowl, it was hiding below the curry. Curry was thin, initially I thought it’s some kind of soup 😂. No flavour at all just Indian spices without any flavour.
Service: one of the worst rated service. We waited for 25mins for someone to come and get our order. Now plates came in 2 round. We were 7 guests (including kid), in round one the server came with 4 plates after 20mins of order. In round 2 he came with 3 more plates after 20 mins.
They served curry with rice. Then slowly slowly our paratha started coming one by one. We waited long for tandoori roti and naan and finally decided to start curry and rice. We finished 1 paratha, 1 Kulche, 2 bowl of rice while waiting for naan and roti. Finally I had to call the server and ask him to bring naan and roti before bring another paratha. And thank god at last we got naan and roti hmmmm
Portion size: portion size is very small. It doesn’t justify the price they are charging.
Best thing about the restaurant: You don’t have to wait...
Read moreAs someone who has had Dosas in multiple countries, across several continents, and from an array of ethnicities; I can confidently say this was the worse Dosa I’ve ever had.
To start, the restaurant is in desperate need of remodeling. Even the plastic barrier from early COVID days was showing its’ age. The paint job over the accents put on the wall look as if they were done by a 7 year old. The floor made the same sound as the sweat covered cushioned floor at a gym.
I should I have listened to my intuition and left before it arrived. In a nearly empty restaurant, with the majority (outside of two take away orders) already having their food, it took nearly 30 minutes to receive what ended up being my punishment for having a craving for my people’s food.
Upon receipt of the dish, I already knew what fate had in store for me. What they called “chutney” tasted like green tap water, with a hint of coconut, and looked like what my dog throws up after eating too much grass. The “beige” variety, which I assumed was supposed to be coconut chutney, had lost its’ flavor months ago and all that was left was the punch of freezer burn and depression. The best part was they provided something along 2 tablespoons of each.
The sambar, and the dosa itself, was like having salt spoon fed to me. I’m all for supplementing electrolytes, but I like to utilize different, and healthier, avenues for that. The filling of the paneer dosa was simply sloppily chopped tomatoes and shredded paneer. No herbs, no chilies, no peas, no love.
If I had to guess, I’d say the restaurant lost its’ heart decades ago and has been scraping by since. Indian food is a celebration; this food was a cry for help including the...

Alright lets do a break down!
Vegetable Samosas You get two per order, good sized, piping hot and full of delicious spiced vegetables. Went amazing with the green chutney. At the cost of 3.99 for two, it'd be a crime not to order these.
Gobhi Aloo The classic vegetable dish of potatoes and cauliflower. All the ingredients were very fresh, seasonings were perfect, and the texture of both the potatoes and cauliflower were absolutely perfect.
Chicken Tikka Masala Either I havent had good Tikka Masala in a while or i've been eating too much of the frozen Trader Joes stuff but this was REAL NICE. Creamy tomato soup with a decent amount of spice (ordered level 3 to be on the safe side, should have just listened to sister-in-law and maxed it out at 6) I dont remember the chicken too much because i kept going for the sauce with my rice or naan.
Garlic Naan Could have used a sprinkle of salt, a stronger garlic punch and be a little crispier but everything else made up for it.
I would definitely come back here. It was my sister-in-laws first experience with Indian food and i ordered the beginner stuff for her to see if she likes it or not, turns out she did enjoy it. Looking forward for a return trip to explore the menu more and cant wait for that...
