Far too many coffee shops in Tulsa present themselves as unique but Notion outdoes the pack. Came to grand opening today, one of the first to arrive. The underground ‘speakeasy’ aesthetic is prominent from the moment you walk in. Cozy, modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff was exceptional, provided recommendations that did not disappoint. The Chai is amazing (made in house) and the espresso & tonic w/ blueberry was a unique surprise and was delicious. Art work along white walls, tons of seating, and an amazing experience overall. The aesthetic in Notion is unmatched and the coffee was truly superior. I live about 25 minutes away, but will make the drive any day to come back to this place. Coffee is relatively expensive, but that is expected for a high end place like this. They serve their own blend of Onyx beans which they also have for sale. I will be back and highly recommend Notion to anyone, so glad this place...
Read moreI’ll preface this by saying, I’ve probably been to 50-60 specialty coffee shops around the US. This coffee shop ranks in my top 10 comfortably. The design and artwork inside make it a very comfortable and visually appealing place to be. The food was excellent. I tried 2 different toasts, the Caprese and the Strawberry Feta. Both were some of the best Avocado Toasts I’ve ever had, and their basalmic was on point. For drinks I tried a plain espresso, which is my base litmus test for good coffee, and I had their seasonal dreamsicle latte. The espresso was pulled perfectly. No unpleasant bitterness or sourness. There weren’t any intense fruity or floral notes, which I usually enjoy, but I really appreciated the well-roundedness of their espresso. The latte was a perfect balance of sweet, fruity, creamy, and coffee. A really unique drink that I would recommend anyone to try. Service was incredible....
Read moreI came here today because they served Onyx coffee. I was immediately disappointed that there was only contact with a machine to order. Sad indeed. The space is definitely cool and well done. Secondly I put in the kiosk that I would be dining in. My food and coffee were both served in to go containers. When I asked about why that was the guy said "because we don't have any clean cups". This was about 9:30 a.m. IDK about most people but when I go to a coffee house I want to feel as if they care that I just spent 23.00 on drinks. It's about the atmosphere and quality service and a real coffee cup with the cute leaf or heart or whatever. Yep, I am complaining. 10 minutes later another client walked in and he was served in a cup. At least I...
