Buffalo Phil's — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

All I can do is shake my head at my most recent experience. It was simply the worst service I’ve ever received. The service was slow and inconsistent. After we found our seats, our server came to us after about 10 minutes. All the servers were in booty shorts/short skirts and crop tops/cut Buffalo Phil’s shirts. At a point, I saw my server’s butt cheeks. They also were on their phones and talking to each other instead of getting people’s orders.

Our server eventually greeted us and took our drink order. We told her we needed a few minutes to look over the menu before ordering and she gave us 10. After ordering, our food came out in a decent amount of time but the server did not check on us for 30 minutes. My husband and I both needed refills but she was too busy on her phone and playing with shirts/her coworkers to notice.

The food was mediocre at best. I had the hot fingers. They were smothered in sauce. I like hot things but those tenders were all heat and no flavor. I was unimpressed. The onion rings I had were good.

I won’t be back. I understand this is a restaurant on the strip and most of the servers are young & in college. However, it was completely unprofessional. Buffalo Phil’s has seen...

This place is a joke. Looks cool from outside. We stood in line outside after the iron bowl game for 45 mins. Got inside, stood with no one to help us for 20 more mins. We walked up and asked the waitress what to do because no one was waiting on us and hadn't even spoken to us. We were told to go find a table. The back room was empty. So as we went to sit down the security lady, an older blonde lady, decided to now come see us. Told us she "didn't know us, we weren't going to sit there and we needed to go back to the back of the line outside". The security guy at the door knew us and was very polite and tried to talk with this older woman about it. She was determined we were going to the back of the line outside. Do not waste your time or money here. Very rude, unprofessional and just plain out waste of an hour and a half. We walked out with out being served. Will never go back to this place, unless I want to be treated like I committed a crime for asking for help and doing what we were told to do. The security gentleman working the door gets 5 stars. My recent dining experience at Buffalo Phil’s left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. I ordered a side of french fries with high expectations, given the establishment's reputation. However, the reality fell far short.

The french fries I received were a mere disappointment. They appeared to be old, with a distinct staleness that indicated a lack of freshness. To make matters worse, the fries were overcooked, resulting in an unappetizing crunch that overshadowed any flavor. I returned my fries stating they were UNSEASONED and over cooked and was treated poorly, the worker hesitant to take my food back with no empathy. The absence of proper seasoning really only exacerbated the problem, leaving the fries tasting very bland .

While my experience may have been disappointing, I believe in the potential for improvement. It is my earnest wish that this review serves as constructive feedback, encouraging the restaurant to reevaluate its approach to both food preparation and customer interaction.
