The food and service of the place was excellent, classic American diner cuisine at fair prices with good service and coffee. Our one issue with our visit was using their parking lot which is noted in the sign as shared with a paid beach parking. We were told by our server that we were okay to park there as long as we kept and showed our receipt, however as me and my partner walked back to our car we were stopped by an older man who tried to get us to come into his shop and pay 40 dollars because we had used his lot. The only reason I am leaving this experience here and not on the business of the parking service is that I was unable to find any information about it online. This man was incredibly rude and when I refused to pay 40 dollars to him and said I would gladly move my car somewhere else he lost it and began cursing and yelling at me and my partner. He proceeded to follow us to our car screaming and cursing about how rude and inconsiderate we were for using the parking lot that was clearly marked as for the restaurant we had just dined at. Overall, the experience was nice, and the food was great I would just recommend parking on the street to avoid this lots exuberant prices and incredibly rude and belligerent owner. We moved our car and paid 8 dollars as opposed to the 40 dollar flat fee he was trying to bully us...

Parking- Depending on when you get there, you may find on-street parking, but they also have a parking lot, that is also shared with a pay for parking. So make sure you let them know you are dining at Sunrise, so you don’t pay or get towed.
When you walk in, it reminds of a scaled down Old Country Buffet, in a small town. We were seated almost immediately in their back room, which was cool because you were away from the bulk of people passing by for the buffet.
Food - we opted for ordering our food a la carte, as the buffet didn’t peak our interest. We figured for $12.95 (buffet), we could get our meals prepared fresh. We opted for pancakes (buttermilk and blueberry), fruit platter, toast, chicken tenders and fries.
Service - The service was fast as almost as soon as our waiter took our order, she returned with our food (technology). Our waiter was very attentive.
Atmosphere- although not on the water, the restaurant is literally a block away from the beach and steps from the Main Street of shopping stores.

Read moreMy coworkers and I had an extended break this morning so we decided to stop in for some breakfast. It was pretty crowded but we found a seat in the back at a big table. Our server came over and immediately I was turned off by her disposition. I had already noticed she didn’t seem overly excited once she observed we were sitting in her section. Despite her disposition, the food was fast and AMAZING! We ate and then sat around talking amongst ourselves. We noticed a worker just standing by the buffet table looking out into the dining area but had no need for alarm until another server walked past our table and rudely uttered “we need this long table” while rolling her eyes in the air! Yes, we had been sitting there for some time but there definitely was a more gracious way to let us know that you needed the table for another party. We would have immediately gotten up and removed ourselves. My coworker paid our bill and we left without tipping! Food is expensive but it costs nothing to be courteous to those who help keep you...
