This is a newly opened place that offers Japanese cuisine with a Brazilian element. There is going to be a sitdown/dine in area later but as of right now, it's togo/take out.
Do be careful when you pull into the area as many people take the liberty to double park in the middle of the road which is rather annoying. They have underground parking around the other side of the restaurant (Lumen) with free 2 hour parking.
The kitchen is designed as an open kitchen concept and you get to watch the staff work on the order as you wait. The staff are super nice and easy to talk to, they are more than happy to answer questions for you
You will get the most value by getting the bento box, which they offer a variety of items on the menu as a set. It's more like a mini tasting menu set. The togo bento box is so eye pleasing and it'll be sure to trigger your desire to try all the items. The beef curry has a nice depth of flavor and the beef is nice and tender. The salad has a very interesting element with the beans sprouts which adds additional juiciness to the cabbage salad. Very enjoyable. The karaage was not heavily breaded and fried perfectly, definitely another highlight to the bento box. Most people don't pay too much attention to the rice but it is an important element to the Asian cuisine. This rice cooked nicely with a very nice bouncy texture.
We also ordered a dish that is one side of protein and rice. We opted for fried rice. If you are a mushroom lover, you'll like this rice. It has a such umami flavor and it just hugs every grain of rice. They are very generous with the mushroom in the rice. One small suggest on the fried rice is to put less oil as the rice was rather greasy. You do see a layer of oil at the bottom of the container as you eat through.

Read moreChurasuko delivers an exceptional dining experience with top-tier food, service, and ambiance. I tried the karaage chicken, chicken teriyaki, spicy miso ramen, and mentaiko shrimp. The karaage was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken teriyaki paired beautifully with their signature house rice, making for a delicious combination. The spicy miso ramen featured a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of heat, and the noodles and toppings were spot-on. I loved how the takeout container kept the broth and toppings separate, ensuring everything stayed fresh. The mentaiko shrimp was a new experience for me, and it definitely exceeded expectations. Overall, an easy 10/10—highly recommend! The service was friendly and quick, adding to the...
Read moreI went to the Boro about a week ago, and randomly tumbled upon this place called Churasuko. I ordered the Udon Carbonara with premium short rib. Let me tell you the dish was beyond phenomenal. With each bites the flavor was dancing in mouth. Everything was perfectly seasoning from noodle to steak. I came back for the second time because I was craving it so bad lol, and it hits the same everytime. The service was great as well. The staff was able to answer every single questions I have about any dish. Also another favorite thing that they do is having lofi music playing while I was waiting for my food. I felt very comfortable and relax everytime come here even though it's only for a short period of time. Overall, highly recommended. This is the hidden gem of the...
