Finally got around to ordering some chicken tenders from here last night. I love chicken tenders, and Popeyes is meant to be the best.
What an absolute disappointment. The chicken tenders are not actually chicken tenders. They’re machine cute slivers of chicken breast, which because it a different meat means it’s a weird, thin, curly, greasy, weird thing that does not in any way resemble a chicken tender.
I was so hungry and I could finish my box of five, they were that disgusting. I was so confused why it was so bad that I googled how Popeyes make them to see if this was a one off or a bad franchisee doing something on the cheap. Seems it’s a nationwide problem. Seems there was even a proposed class action lawsuit as they are fragrantly lying about what they are selling. I personally think a class action lawsuit is bonkers. The more proportionate response I’ll take to something that is purposefully poorer quality than it is represented to be, is to leave this review and never buy them again.

I waited almost 40 minutes to pick up a mobile order that was already paid for. The location on google states it closed at 11pm but the manager was kicking customers out that were eating in the restaurant at 10:30, and the manager was so rude and unprofessional to several customers. When I finally got home and looked at my order, they provided me regular strips instead of spicy chicken strips. Why would I pay and not received the order I specifically wanted? Read moreNot only is this the second occasion the cashier personnel was extremely rude. Today 8/21/2024, She needs a refresher course on customer service or RETRAINING. That’s me being polite. Not only did I attempt to purchase a meal TWICE via the kiosk as instruct by said personnel; when having technical issue she rudely suggested perhaps I don’t have enough funds for the order. Which is OUTRAGEOUSLY DISRESPECTFUL. The same associate refused to assist me and refused to allow me access to the bathroom insisting I must be a paying customer.
