It's Chipotle. The food always taste good however, my experience today was not good. First I ordered a burrito that had to be re-wraped multiple times. My paitentice grew a little thin, (due to a timed lunch break) so I told them to leave it be and I'll eat it. I could understand if I had filled up a 3lb burrito and it was stuffed, but that wasn't the case.
After I sat down to eat, I noticed the music was so loud I couldn't carry on a conversation with my wife over the phone. The lady next to me was sitting with her toddler trying to eat as well. It made it tough when they were holding their ears most of the time.
There were another 2 lady's to the opposite side of me who were just trying to catch up over lunch and ended up getting "to-go" containers as they also were uncomfortable. The only individuals who seemed to been ejoying anything were the obnoxious 17yr old employees.
They lady with the toddler asked an employee to please turn down the music. The employee's tone of voice and body language suggested that she was in disgust that she asked such a thing. Then employee snarled and walked around to the back for several minutes and adjusted the volume down just a touch almost enough just to spite the customer. The music was still too loud. I ate my food as quickly as I could and began to leave. The lady with the toddler left in front of me. As she was walking out, the music was adjusted louder again.
As good as the food is, the experience is not worth stopping back in the location. Plenty of other Chipotle locations that are indeed more customer and product driven...
Read moreBeen meaning to write a review which was going to be a bit better than this but there’s few issues I take.
Rice being 50/50 here kinda sucks, it’s either made like a pro or I get mini rice balls and I kinda hate it.
Portions are the same. Depending on who is working, when you say “extra rice” it’s either another scoop, or the most comical thing I’ve ever seen dropped in a bowl. And that goes for everything else down the line salsa, lettuce, the whole shabang. Huge air pockets in the guac suck.
Vingerettes are either not prepared at all or completely frozen and I have to thaw them out. What’s even worse is really gross discoloration, I came to manager about it and was told it was fine and I got sick afterwards. I know people will sometimes ask for them, but it’s only reason why I will go to chipotle and eat their food. Sorry but if it’s on the menu and not prepared, then why have it at all.
I love the older cashier lady. She’s probably my favorite reason and only reason I return to the location. She’s very kind, respectful, and I appreciate her work.
Please do not take this as “I’m being a Karen about it” but the inconsistency of the location is really off putting to people who want to be regulars. I understand this is just a Chipotle, but It’s one of the only places close by and I would love to see...
Read moreI eat at this location consistently — usually two to three times a week. The food is always solid, no issue there. But the portion consistency is a recurring problem that needs to be addressed.
Even when you clearly ask for double or triple meat, you get the scoops — but they’re noticeably light. It’s almost like the word “extra” doesn’t register. Same goes for rice, cheese, and other toppings. The portions are short, and the team quickly moves on to the next step in the order, making it difficult to speak up without holding up the line. And when you do pause to address it, you’re made to feel like you’re asking for something unreasonable — even though you’re paying for more.
I used to think it was just the rush or the team being inconsistent, but after getting full scoops from one employee one day, then noticeably less the next, it’s clear this is a directive from management. They’re instructing staff to cut portions — regardless of what’s been paid for. And judging by other reviews, I’m not the only one who’s picked up on this.
No one’s asking for anything free — just give people what they’re paying for. If inventory is running short, plan accordingly. The food is good, but if this pattern keeps up, I’ll take my business to another location that respects the order and...
