Listen, I love Meijer. I've lived in 3 different states and I love getting compliments on my clothes and telling people I got them at the store back home. But the horrible way they treat their betta fish is absolutely horrible. I took pictures of four dead fish, eaten up with fin rot, and one dying from it. In one of the cups, the water was yellow. I told the woman at customer service and she paged someone else to go back there and check. She was very nice and said she didn't know much about the fish, but I could go speak to the lady she just phoned. I go back there and spoke with the lady, showing her each of the cups with the rotting fish. She passed the blame onto another employee, saying the tanks get cleaned and the water changed every day. I pulled the cup with the yellow water and rotting fish and said there's no way this water was changed today. She said the girl who changes it called off today, but the fish was fed last night and was alive. I am a 4 year fish owner, and have dealt with a betta with fin rot when I was a new owner, and reiterated that the water has not been changed in days, and there is no way the fish had just died over night. I pulled the sick fish off the shelf and asked her if I could take him home, put him in a heated and filtered tank with medicated water and she refused. I asked why, because he was damaged and would not be able to be sold. She said she was not allowed to sell damaged goods or give them away (which, fine, okay), but he is dying. She said she'll wait for him to die, and I told her to dump him tonight or else he will keep suffering. I know fish are the underdogs of the pet world, but after keeping them for 4 years, you realize that they have personalities, and are intelligent (bettas can even be taught tricks). And not to come off as some overly sensitive millennial, but it was very upsetting to see these fish kept in these conditions and then for this employee to take a harsher tone with me when I'm trying to bring to her attention that obviously someone isn't doing their job, really put me off to this store, even though the pet section is a small part of the...

One more hour make a big difference LOL we got there around 10 p.m. and got ready to check out around 11:45 wish more places were open past 11 and 12 p.m. since they've left it pretty much all there restrictions. I've always loved 2 go to the store when I got off work when I worked third shift. And there's not hardly any people at all which I love. I mean it's nice for several reasons. Not only is hardly anyone in your way and you don't have to wait at the checkout line for 30 minutes but I have social anxiety/ agoraphobia..so yeah.. it was good as it would geat . The young boy working are check out line was nice, good personality. And also I forgot it was very clean also. When we walked in and they had a sanitizing station they were wiping off carts. And they had several packs of sanitizing wipes available if needed which I really like. And also they still have those scanners in the beginning of Isles where you can check the price and they all we're working LOL. Eastgate and Amelia Walmart do not have them anymore. If you don't download their app that has self scan on it then it's like you're trying to chase down an associate to price check. And a few times I've as another shopper if they would scan my item LOL because I seen them scanning stuff. And they were polite enough to do it. And I know I don't get out much as I did back years ago LOL but it was a good experience....

I went to meijers Eastgate to pick up a prescription that came to 1.93 and gave them 20.00 I get home and find in the stapled bag along with prescription only .07 They stole 18.00 of my money!! I'm sorry but when you're owed money that you don't get...it's stealing!! That's one problem I had. When I called to tell them about it they said they would count the till and get back to me. I waited then I called back and they said they're reviewing the camera and would get back to me. Finally I called the store manager and told them what's happening and she said they can't count the till till the end of the day so now THEY ARE LYING TO ME ON TOP OF GETTING RIPPED OFF?!!!.FINALLY the pharmacist said they ordered her to give me the money! I'm SORRY I FN GAVE YOU $20 FOR A 1.93.PURCHASE SO YEAH YOU NEED TO PAY ME WHAT IM OWED!! THIS CAME AFTER I THREATENED TO CALL UNION TOWNSHIP POLICE TO REVIEW THE CAMERA!!
