I want to love Outback and I really wanted to be blown away at this new location since I drive by every evening. The 6oz sirloin was cooked exactly medium rare as I asked for. That was the best part though. It was so heavily seasoned with a black pepper and salt bark that was just too much seasoning. The meat was just good not great. Last time I went to Outback in Beechmont I got the filet thinking it would be better. The filet was not better. There is little difference between the filet and sirloin. I was hoping it was just the other location but it seems to be the way they make steaks. I'm going to get the Alice Springs chicken, lobster tails, salmon, or chili next time. I like those better than the way Outback is making the steaks. The blooming onion was not cut all the way to the top so we had to get a knife and cut the remaining connected part which made the breading fall off. It could all be so good with just a bit more effort!

We chose this restaurant for dinner because of the koala mural — apparently I resemble one — and because I hadn’t visited in years. Our waitress, C², was attentive without hovering, always arriving right when we needed something. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium well, which was cooked to perfection, with a side of creamy mac and cheese and a loaded baked potato. The fresh, warm bread was a nice bonus. My daughter had a burger and fries, declaring it the best burger she’s ever had — which, at 11, she says whenever she likes food at a new place, but I’ll take it as a win. My wife also had the sirloin with a baked potato and a house salad, though the ranch portion was a bit stingy. She loved her meal, though her stomach disagreed later. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service, and I’d gladly return for another meal if I’m ever in the area again.

This Outback is the bee’s knees and in a really convenient location. The service is superb. The menu switched up the Bloomin’ Chicken Steak combo, but they accommodated and served us exactly what we wanted to order. I even got a Dr Pepper with LIME 🍋‍🟩 They even did it up to-go! This being a newer Outback, the decor is very fresh and vibrant. I’ve been to this location multiple times now. There is a Longhorn Steakhouse across the street. As long as Outback is open, I see no reason to go to the Longhorn. The food is top notch and satisfying. PRO TIP: Order the Bloomin’ Fried Shrimp and ask for it to come out with your Caesar Salad. Put the Shrimp on your Salad. You will not regret this hack. They could feature it on the menu and I’m sure it’d be a hit.

My family and I were left homeless on Friday after the side effects of hurricane Helene. After being busy with rearranging our lives for two days and getting situated with temporary housing we decided to take our family out for dinner that is putting us up in housing for now. We were a table of 4 adults and 3 children. We are still working and figuring things out so we aren't without money. But when our waitress, Angel, came to the table she asked how we are doing and without really thinking about it I popped off with, "We'll, we're homeless now because of this hurricane, but otherwise we're just great!" She was apologetic and compassionate but also kept the mood light. She took great care of our table and checked on us numerous times. We were all about 3/4 of the way through our meal when she came back to check on us again and informed us that she had our entire meal had been taken care of. We had 3 sirloin, 2 prime ribs, and 2 kids meals. At Outback that is AT LEAST a $200 meal. We were shaken. Shocked. We didn't ask for it and we didn't need it. But we now have a new favorite steak house. As a matter of fact, we have been to multiple steak houses in the area over the last 3 months and this was the first one I've had in that time frame that was made correctly 👌. Angel interacted with our kids, put up with and threw back the shenanigans my husband puts every server through, and gave me a hug that brought me to tears. She was truly just the person we needed to see last night and she needs a raise. IMMEDIATELY. She was tipped very well BTW but seriously getting that level of service from a brand new restaurant to the area on a homecoming night for many schools and serving tons of people without power was really unexpected...

This was our first time here, we typically eat at other steak places but wanted to try this. We were greeted and seated right away, which is awesome for a Saturday. But we had to avoid stepping in a bunch of food getting into our booth because no one bothered to clean the food off the floor under the table...like big chunks of food..not crumbs. Our waitress was terrible, she never offered or brought us any refills, she wasn't the one that brought us our food, she never checked on us until our plates were done and we asked for the check, and she never offered any dessert menu...so we went and bought dessert at Kroger.

The food was alright. Why give us dry rye bread? Other places do so much better with table bread. The steak was different, it was tough and seasoned on the outside, but soft and bland on the inside..it was cooked right..but lacked flavor beyond the tough surface. My mashed potatoes were bland, I'm glad I got cheese and bacon on it because that's the only thing that gave it flavor..and they weren't hot at all..Just room temperature..and for some reason came in a cup when my girlfriends potatoes came on her plate. My girlfriends mashed potatoes were flavorless and had a blonde hair mixed in it...which neither of us has blonde hair..so gross. But the Mac & Cheese was crazy good..it was piping hot, super fresh, and just full of cheese and flavor...some of the best Mac & cheese I've ever had. We might be back, we might not. It wasn't even close to what I normally spend, so that was nice since it wasn't...

Thought I would take a chance on the new outback in Eastgate after about 5 years ago having a bad experience with the one on 5 mile with 3 porterhouse steaks being of terrible quality. Tonight my wife and I went to the newest Outback at Eastgate. I ordered the porterhouse and my wife ordered Steak and ribs. Salad was great. The steak on the other hand was thin and raggered looking. I order Onions and mushroom to go over it but only got onion's till our waitress brought them separate. I cut the first piece which left an after taste in my mouth. I tried another spot on the steak again not juicily. It looked like one of those steaks people sell out of their trunk. At 30 plus for the steak I expected more so I called over a Manager which said i could get you another but i said if it even looks like this i just want all removed so I may go to a different Restaurant (Texas roadhouse) Got a great porterhouse as usual there. She still charged me for the onions and mushroom that she took away on the plate that I also didn't know they charge for each. Texas roadhouse mixes them together and charges for 1. If I was the Manager i would have given me a free dinner maybe for me to try at a different time instead of totally losing a customer and maybe anyone that will see this review or some of my business associates . Sorry there is not a zero for food quality.
