The service at everything bagel has really gone down hill. I have been here on many occasions and I keep trying to overlook my frustrations however today was the deal breaker. I came in on a Tuesday after the lunch rush. A group of 3 people ordered in front of me for dine in, they sat down while I was ordering for takeout. They got their food as I waited. After I ordered I had 5 or 6 other people come in and place carry out orders. Everyone after me got their food as I just sat and waited. The group of 3 that ordered before me finished their lunch, I still had no food. Mind you all the mean while the crew in the back are having a party. They are living their best life. Finally the person handing out food asks what my name is and says she will see what's taking so long. Even after that I waited. I was there for probably 30 mins waiting for my food. All I get is here is your food sorry about your wait. When I got back to work I couldn't even eat my food because I had to clock back in. Perhaps if the crew working were paying attention to the clients instead of just themselves and making orders ,they would see what was happening right in front of...
Read moreThe food at this establishment is excellent. However, during my recent visit, I encountered an unfortunate experience at the front desk. Two young women, one with blonde hair and the other with brown hair, were managing the area. Their demeanor was unfriendly and came across as condescending. He was visibly struggling to hear them and leaned in to better understand, but rather than raising their voices slightly to assist, the blonde continued speaking in a barely audible tone. I found this lack of customer service and empathy disappointing.
On a positive note, as I was leaving, a very courteous bearded employee, who was taking out the trash, kindly held the door open for me. He displayed the kind of professionalism and respect that would be well-suited at...
Read moreThis place used to be THE spot. I think anyone around Eastgate can attest to that. I always want to support small, especially this place because I’ve been coming here since middle school & they brought character to an otherwise, corporate ran town. But I went for lunch today & my favorite bagel (the chicken salad) was almost inedible. The chicken was full of fat & the mixture was so runny - which is the complete opposite of what it used to be. I understand supply shortages but to completely change a recipe to something that doesn’t even taste housemade seems a little suspicious to me. The bagel itself was the same as always, but I had to throw away the rest. I hope this place continues to do well & maybe find its way back to its roots, but I’m not sure I’ll be coming...
