I had an amazing dining experience at Honey Grow restaurant and I can't wait to share my thoughts in this 5-star Google review. First and foremost, the food at Honey Grow is incredibly tasty. I had the pleasure of trying their sesame and garlic stir fry, as well as the garlic butter chicken stir fry, and both dishes were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The temperature of the food was exactly how I like it - hot and fresh, which added to the overall dining experience.

Today I went into Honeygrow having no expectations. I have never been here before. Having no idea what to order, I went with a dish I was raised with. I still remember running home on frigid winter days to my moms flavorful stir fry. It was a perfect combination of flavors and textures. I knew that with these high expectations, I may not be satisfied with this meal, but I looked through the glass and saw eager and persistent workers. I knew I had to give it a shot. My order was pretty complex (the way my mom made it was never simple) but yet it still was ready faster than many other places Ive been to. Skeptical about how good a meal could be after being made that quickly, my desire to try it grew even more. After taking the first bite, I felt like a young boy again. My wife and I have loved Honeygrow ever since we got to try the one in KOP. Living in the Collegeville area, we were ecstatic to hear there would be one opening in town.

We’ve gotten food from here a few times now, and it’s been very hit or miss. When it hits, there’s few things better. I always my same COY stir fry, and when it’s made right I have zero complaints. But one time, they made it with like no sauce - so basically dry noodles, which was awful. Yesterday, they made it with plenty of sauce, but not the one had requested in my order. It seems like a roll of the dice whether you’ll get your food made correctly.

We’ve eaten here a few times on Friday nights, which is a big mistake. I prefer to do takeout, but my wife likes to dine in and eat the food made fresh. I can understand that, but when you’re waiting 30+ minutes for what is essentially gourmet fast food, it’s not worth it. Maybe it’s not as crazy to dine-in...
