Coming in from a wonderful day at the Dunes, we were famished and in need of good food and good drinks. This is the place! There was ample parking and people hurrying in and I understood why once I was seated. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was awesome, and the food was superb! When we walked in and asked the hostess to be seated, they ushered us to the bar and promptly seated us. Robbie behind the bar had the menus down and drink shaker ready to go. When you begin to read the menu, you think you know what you are going to get but then you see something else that sounds wonderful and then realize that the entire menu is wonderful and has something for everyone. Start with the French Onion soup and you are bound to want another but don't worry because everything on the menu is awesome. The drinks that are made here are equally wonderful and cool too. Try the Purple Rain and you're bound to get another. The next time I am in Indiana, I will make the drive out to this restaurant because it...

It was interesting to see how the decor was a mixture of new and existing finishes. While the noise level was higher than I personally like, it is what I expected it would be.
The food was very good, we all enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend both the Blackened Salmon, as it was excellent. We split the Brownie dessert, and it was delicious!
We were there at 7:30pm on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was quite busy. While there seemed to be an abundance of staff working, we waited at our table for close to 10 minutes before our server stopped by bring water, take our drink order, etc. He was very apologetic, it made me wonder if they were perhaps short staffed. This was my first time at the restaurant, so I have no idea if this is normal or not. We will go during a “off-peak” time during...
Read moreWe’ve been a few times and service is always extremely friendly and consistent! If it’s a little slow it’s because it’s busy and the kitchen/bar is slammed, no fault of service. Atmosphere is unique and a great use of this industrial space. Drinks are always delish and pack a punch, worth the price! They definitely get that right which is good for a distillery. As far as the food goes, the menu is trying to reinvent the wheel. They manage to put an alcohol twist in nearly every dish, when they that don’t need it. For example, it would be nice to have garlic mashed potatoes without a sweet brandy gravy :) Just tastes kinda icky. However to end on a positive note: Sunday brunch and the fried chicken/biscuits and gravy is one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had!!! If they put a fried chicken sammie on their daily menu, I’d consider going more often. I’ll be sticking to their fabulous Sunday brunch instead of going...
