Visited yesterday and that experience was worse than my last one! It was yuck!! I paid $8.xx for 4 donuts and an apple fritter. The donuts were hard, dry, and looked like they were leftover from a previous baking! My chocolate glazed rings were put in the bag upside down (go figure) but that didn't even matter because they were so dry that I couldn't eat them. I don't like to throw away food but this whole order, except the fritter, went into the trash! The person I took the fritter to said that it was very dry and wasn't what she'd expected. I know places are experiencing staff shortages but how do you mess up donuts? Did the recipes change? Are they making up larhe batches and storing them because they, too, are short staffed??I'm not only confused but disappointed. I never thought they had the BEST donuts but they used to be better than this. Not sure I'll be returning since both visits have been disappointing.
Not a fan of "crispy" donuts--only went to get apple fritters for a co-worker and decided to get cake donuts with chocolate frosting. They were dry and crispy. Didn't like that they charge you for using a card to pay for your purchases (I think if order is...
Read moreJim's donuts are by far one of the best doughnut shops I have ever been to... Jim's has the quality to excel if it was in the Los Angeles, CA area doughnut market. Jim's Donut's is at that level of enjoyability and quality! Thank you for your awesome work and I (we, my family) are and will continue to be repeat customer's. BTW...if you are traveling on I-75 and desire a good cup of coffee and/or a doughnut...Jim's is worth the short drive to the West. Once you see the shop, pass it SLIGHTLY and turn left (South) into the parking lot. Once you are ready to leave the lot, travel South and turn left (East) at the first street. You may see an old bicycle with a sign on it...that is the street you want. Once you get to the end of the Eastbound street turn left (North) again to arrive at US Route 40. Turn right (East) at the light to find the Freeway. I hope you enjoy Jim's Donuts as much as I do...P.s., to my blue family...I gives Jim's Donut's two...
Read moreOh my word! I cannot say enough nice things about Jim's Donut Shop. I told my husband I had a craving for a donut, and neither of us wanted to try a chain donut place as we had been disappointed before. So we decided to give Jim's Donut Shop a try. I am so glad that we did! The variety of donuts and other breakfast Sweets were abundant! My husband is a fan of apple fritters and blueberry donuts, so I got those for him. The apple fritters are HUGE! I am a Bavarian cream donut girlie so I got that. Something else caught my eye that I had to try: the apple donut sandwich. Ohhh my good Heavens. Sooo scrumptious! The young lady helping me was such a delight. There were several patrons seated and enjoying their coffee and conversation as well. We will definitely consider this...
