Was really excited per all the reviews I read. We got there and there was plenty of places to sit. On a Saturday that makes me go hmmm at 6pm. We sat down and a couple minutes later we got menus. She grabbed our drink order and got them fairly quickly. We immediately placed our order. We received our soup in about 5 mins and it tasted good. $8 for a bowl seems steep though. Now this is where the two stars comes in... after having put our order in 20-25 minutes ago the kids are getting antsy and the waitress walks over and tells us they were sorry but they didn't have any more chicken fingers. I understand things happen but we ordered a long time ago. So I asked if we could just get more pizza. After she walked away I went oh no that means they are going to start a new pizza from scratch and it's now been 30 minutes. So I ran up to the counter and asked if they were able to just throw another small pizza in so we didn't have to wait for a new pizza. She said it was cheaper to just do a bigger one and I said I know but so they didn't have to waste our other pizza if it was easier/faster to get us the food to bring the first one out and they could bring the second one out when it was done. I was trying to be helpful and prevent the kids from losing it. Well turns out they hadn't made anything as we had to wait another 10ish minutes. If we hadn't gotten soup we would have just got up and walked out. Why it took 45-50 mins for a 10" cheese pizza and a cheesesteak sub when there were only two other tables in the restaurant was crazy. The two stars are because the food was tasty. We may have given 3 stars if they didn't charge us for two 10 inch pizzas when they didn't have the items we ordered and we needed more food (we would have been fine if they charged us for one bigger pizza considering we didnt use the 1 topping that came with and i was trying to prevent wasting a pizza and getting it out faster). Or maybe offer a free dessert for the long wait or waiting for forever to let us know they didn't have what we ordered. $58 for two tiny pizzas, a sub, and a bowl of soup...crazy. thank goodness...
Read moreWhat a disappointment. The waitress placed their scalding hot plates next to my 15 month old baby. I moved the plate quickly so she didn’t burn herself and then she placed a calzone with a knife in front of my baby, which she grabbed for and I freaked out. Why would you have so little spacial awareness? The waitress started to cry in the corner and proceeded to ignore us the entire time. I was very uncomfortable! My sister ordered the shrimp scampi and they gave her food to another table because they did not want to come to our table after her feelings were hurt from her own blunders. it took them 20 minutes for her food to arrive after the other six of us were finished with our meal. The waitresses there can’t handle a room full of customers. We told them two children will be sharing the manicotti and they brought it on one plate and refused to take the big dish back to split it on two plates because they were busy in the kitchen. I looked up why they received a B rating (84%) when they used to be a 98, and it’s because they keep their produce on the floor, their tomato sauce on the floor, they DONT WASH their hands! Absolutely disgusting. Never coming here again. Just go to...
Read morePLEASE READ BEFORE YOU EAT (Review is not based off a bad experience, just honesty) It's a small hole in the wall pizza joint with a very awkward ambiance. 1 of the stars is for it being clean, the other is for the good service. The menu has variety, but the prices for what you get were VERY VERY high. I ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and a 18" cheese pizza, and it came out to a whopping $50 after tax. The pie was nothing to remember at all. Nothing special, tasted almost exsactly like a Costco pie to be honest. I Hate to say, but Costco pizza is without a doubt a tad better. The mozzarella sticks were skinny and costly, $14.99 to be exact. That's 2 dollars per mozzarella stick, CRAZY! With all due respect if you're hungry for really good pizza and want a chill environment I'd go to Oggi's in A.V. With $50 you can get the same things but WAY higher quality, more quantity on appetizers, and 2 beers. I don't mind paying a good buck for good food. Unfortunately this experience was just a good buck. I will not be returning, thank you...
