I understand that mistakes happen, and it is with no easy decision that I be this blunt, however after one too many incidents of error I have to say the following:
The staff does not know what goes into what at the Vineland store. I've ordered the same drink, the London Fog, not a difficult tea to make, 3 times in the last week and received it right only once.
I ordered blue berry oatmeal multiple times and have received it a multitude of different ways despite that no customization is added to the order. I've literally gotten plain oatmeal and a blueberry pack.....that's it, nothing else, no agave, no nut medley as advertised. And this happened more than once. The last time I ordered the blueberry oatmeal I received agave syrup, a brown sugar packet, 2 different types of nut packets and when adding the blue berries they were fuzzy! Not only is that disgusting but that was additional product leaving the store for the wrong item. In otherwords, someone just guessed and threw stuff in the bag. As a business owner i acknowledge that's not good for stock and supply if it happens often. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm probably not the only one who's been shorted or added fluff too. Who minds extras? No one does, but looking at it objectively, it just means the staff doesn't know or doesn't care.
I have come to two conclusions:
#1 the staff at Starbucks, which I pay more to get hot water from than say a fast food restaurant, officially has the same lack of reading ability as the staff at a fast food restaurant OR lack of care for the final product like most employees you find working disatisfied at a fast food restaurant. In other words, cappy ability to produce.
#2 conclusion is that the only time you will get your order "as ordered" is if a young woman who works the early am shift with dark hair, Coral I believe they called her, is working. Yesterday, my London Fog was perfect. Why, she remembered the damn vanilla syrup! So if I got your name right, thank you Coral.Today it's just Earl Grey tea with a splash of milk! Just like last week....very disappointed in my cloudy cup of...
Read moreI placed my order when I got stuck at the light at the mall entrance. Waited for the whole light, found a parking spot, went in, stood under the sign.. and still had to wait about 5 mins.
Staff ignored the fact I was there. There were 2 girls working, 2 customers in the store (already served) and 2 app orders... (Myself and someone else)
After waiting under the sign for about 2 mins the girl then stopped talking to the other customer (apparently ex employee or friend) and asked if I was waiting.
After about another 2 minutes the other girl finally started my drink.
However, the drink was very good... But that just means they followed the recipe.
Not thrilled, but...
Read moreThis location needs to find team members with some drive. They are slow and the drinks aren’t consistent. Every time I go here they apologize for the wait because even they know how slow they are. I always place mobile orders and never once had it been ready when I get there. Not once despite placing the order at least 15 minutes before I arrive. The store wasn’t busy but everyone is talking and taking their time to make drinks. I’ve been to plenty of locations but this one and the Rio Grande locations are the absolute slowest. At least Rio Grande stays busy so they have a slightly better excuse than...
