I deleted my review posted 4 months ago to update on an incident. And have a few things to mention about this place.
#1 MAJOR disappointment: One of the staff bussing ladies, was pushy, and when she took my paid for receipt, she unwrapped it, stood there in front of an entire crowd and looked at me and said, "Umm you're not giving me any tip? I would like a tip. Can you give me a tip?" This went on for about 40 seconds, her begging me for a tip. And even when I said, "No excuse me...?" She kept going and just stared at me waiting for a tip and still asking, as if she were insane lol... Mind you... this is a buffet. She wasn't even the one who brought my water lol and mind you, I usually leave a general tip in their tip jar on the front desk. I told this woman, "Absolutely not.... Are you kidding...? You don't ask for a tip.... and you especially don't demand one....?" She eventually walked away and left everyone in the surrounding uncomfortable. She was a slightly older lady than the other staff. Made everyone including my guest, very uncomfortable.
ANOTHER thing. I come here all the time. The staff will have eyes on you and make you feel uneasy when you're getting your food.. you can tell they're judging you there and don't want you to take too much food. Gtfo, It's a BUFFET.
The only great staff there is the lovely front desk lady that seats you --- because she is polite, charming, doesn't death stare you, and leaves you alone.
Ridiculous. My friend and I will never forget this buffet lady who did practically nothing, and demanding a tip. Never seen that before ever.. Be warned. Staff doesn't want you to eat. Sometimes even near your 3rd plate, they will tell you to eat slowly. They harass. They'll even bill you early if they notice you eating a lot lol
Also some of them talk trash on customers in their own language. Guess they figure that no one will understand lol
Here was my first review, months ago, before their nonsense. "Good food. Sushi could be fresher and replaced more quickly after hours, though. A tad hard.
Otherwise, good place in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Attention please read...Halloween night was my first and last time at Tang Asian Cuisine!! First of all we went in after trick or treating around 8:40pm. While we were still eating they were taking plates off our table & my son in law told the lady why are you taking my plate Iām not done with that and she still walked away with it. It felt like they were hoovering around our table the whole time and we felt rushed. online it showed the restaurant closed at 10 pm so they still had time to clean up. I noticed they tried charging my granddaughter as an adult and I told the woman sheās 10 years old she not an adult. So she changed it on the receipt to show it was not 4 adults. When I went to pay i had an issue with my card being locked so as Iām on the phone with my bank, my daughter hears a man behind the register telling my granddaughter she needs to exercise and laughs. Although my granddaughter is autistic she still understands when people are making fun of her. She immediately started doing jumping jacks out of embarrassment. So my daughter asked him ādid you just tell my niece she needs to exercise?ā And he said oh yea and laughed again. We told him how rude and disrespectful his comment was because he doesnāt know her health conditions and because she is special needs! Then he tried to say he was sorry he just said that because he likes to exercise. She told him she knew that he was lying that he was just making rude and insensitive comments to a child and oh ok and laughed and said he was sorry. And the woman was saying she sorry he said that he shouldnāt tell her to exercise. I find it so rude and disrespectful & I will never go back. Especially knowing other people have had experiences like this with...
