Volcano Sushi, Grill, Bar& karaoke (Town Center) — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Im still in my car outside while im writing this . I came for my husband bday . I brung 16 people there to rent out the karaoke room . They told me it was 34$ when i got my tab it was 68$ per hour . My food was freezing cold . They forgot about one persons food , while everyone else ate . They charged me for two hours when we all had to send something back . My daughter got a sprite and everyone got their drink , she got hers 40 mins later after we had to remind them . One of our mics was dying . So It kept cutting off . Then they never came to , ask about refills , water , drinks , left all the trash on our table and we was there 2 hours . The building was nice , but the service and food SUCK !! I saw the drinks on the menu that was sooo cute . On the menu was no pics so I asked what did she recommend , bring me a nice looking drink. She suggested a drink that has a bubble on it . Bring us a drink with no bubbles. I asked what happened she said its hard with the bubble and walking over the drink . So i said then why promote that it has a bubble . I was so irritated . Then the bar tender came with the bubble . Definitely should of got a refund for that . Its someones birthday. We traveled to come there . And they act like they didn’t want to work . Soon as we got in there it wasnt set for my party amount . So for 30 Mins we was looking stupid and awkward. Im going to share on my Tiktok so none of my followers go to this place ever . NOT WORTH THE MONEY , DO NOT BRING A LARGE PARTY . And when leaving they start cleaning the entrance and my sister fell .. THE MAN SAID I TOLD THEM NOT TO MOP YET . Review: 1/5 Stars We recently visited Volcano with a group of friends from work, eager to have a great time as we’ve enjoyed karaoke nights before at another spot. Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing from the start. We were excited by the setup, which included a huge selection of songs and the ability to use YouTube, but the service was completely unacceptable. Upon arrival, we waited at the bar to order drinks while our room was being set up, but no one attended to us. After finally ordering, it took over 45 minutes to get our first round of drinks. I also ordered an appetizer, but it didn’t arrive until the very last plate of food, as it was apparently forgotten by the kitchen staff. The waitress was quick to assure us it wasn’t her fault but didn’t take responsibility for the delay. To make matters worse, while one of my friends was singing, the manager came in and turned down the microphones so low that we couldn’t hear anything. We mentioned this to the staff and hoped they’d adjust the volume, but the response was unsatisfactory. Instead, the music became unbearably loud, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the karaoke experience. Throughout the night, the staff was inattentive and, frankly, rude. It was clear they were not interested in making sure we had a good time. This place could have so much potential, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Found this place on Instagram from a food influencer/social content creator. Upon first impression, I was impressed by the music playing and the atmosphere with all the lights, and seeing the karaoke rooms. However, everything quickly went downhill afterwards and I was no longer impressed by the time I left.

Our server was very nice, her name was Misa. She was training a new waitress while handling our table. I quickly found out she was also handling a large party of what I estimated to be about 30 people who all broke up their checks. When I was walking around checking out the karaoke rooms. My server stopped in to tell me the prices and packages of the three karaoke rooms. My server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. However, our service was extremely slow. We never received drink refills. We waited almost 20 minutes for our check. I ended up going up to the registers to pay for my check with another waiter. The restaurant was NOT short staffed. They had many waiters working the floor. It seems Misa was overloaded and overworked.

The presentation of the food was very artistic and creative. However, everything tasted bland, tasteless, and the raw fish was not fresh. We ordered several different things from appetizers, sushi to ramen. Also, it was expensive and not worth what I paid for.
