This establishment has the potential to be a very solid work environment, but only after a few very important changes were made. To start from the top of the operation, I will speak about the owners. Never in my work experience have I ever, as an employee and manager, felt a more prejudice and uncomfortable presence in the work place. To say that this is where I believe most of the issues stem from in an understatement. Next, the general manager is an individual who would not be able to hold the store together without relying on the complete assistance of the other managers beneath her. This is disappointing because leadership should start from the top and trickle down, and in this scenario that is not the case at all. Turn over rate for employees deciding to part ways with this store are high and that I feel is an issue. Lastly, it would be wrong not highlight the one individual who I will mention by name, Nala Harley. This is the store's assistant manager and honestly the ENGINE that is keeping this store running. Without going into much detail, it is safe to say that Nala exemplifies what it means to be a leader and an employee of...
Read moreWent here for lunch at this location for the first time as I'm out of state but always love Jimmy John's, and was surprised to find it very understaffed for the amount of patrons. However it was very clean, stocked, organized, and had a pleasant atmosphere. One female employee (Nala?) worked the register and made sandwiches at the same time with speed, proficiency, and a flawless memory that was quite amazing to see. If she was overwhelmed with the amount of work and a ruder impatient customer, she didn't show it and remained professional, speedy, and accurate with the orders. It was clear she was extremely proficient at her job and could handle high stress situations while remaining beyond effective at her job. I look forward to continuing to visit a place that places such value on...
Read moreGood when it's good, bad when it's bad. These people seem overwhelmed and overworked; especially when it comes to online orders. The food is fine as a sandwich is a sandwich. Yet, please do not expect to place an online/in app order to get faster service. As everyone else is thinking the same. An hour long wait for an in app order during a Wednesday at 1pm is insane. Seem to be 3 people working. 2 for in-store orders and 1 for online orders. There is a gym right behind it and an apartment complex 2 mins away from this location. Not to mention it's on a shopping strip (people who work at the stores).
Edit: The people who work here are very nice people as they are clearly use to it. Just doing the best they can. Give all of these people incentives for working...
