Had lunch inside Wendy's, the first in a long time. The order register was shielded with plexiglass and suggested standing distance was noted on the floor, and where to stand in line. Credit card scanners were easily within reach away from the order taker and plexi. Our order was taken, and we noted an overall price increase. The regular condiment area was closed, with only straws and drink lids open to diners. Other dining needs were expidited by the pick up associate, by being asked what you needed, such as forks, salt, ketchup etc and it was included in the bag handed you through the pick up plexi station. The beverage area was still self serve. The dining room was clean and clutter free, with cards on properly spaced tables suggesting where to sit in order to maintain distance between tables. The food was typical Wendy's fare and flavor, no better or worse. All staff were helpful, but most worked in the food prep area. Our only associate contact was with the order taker and food pick up. No staff were noted in the dining area during our lunch. I noted many more drive through diners than inside diners.
Sept, 2023 Drive thru kiosk listed a different price I was charged at the payment window. When I inquired about this, the employee merely repeated the amount. When I asked for a receipt, she rolled her eyes, and then handed me the receipt. The food was good, but the employee attitude was extremely poor. Had to ask for sauce and catsup.

Read moreFor such a nice building and atmosphere, apparently it's very difficult to find management that can handle the orders in a quick, orderly fashion whether inside or the drive thru. Once the order is taken and filled, the food is usually fresh.
As noted, this relates to inside and the drive thru. The double drive thru is a complete disaster when it comes to convenience, speed and accuracy. The wait time is absolutely horrible no matter what time of day or night you go by. In my experience, the wait has been over ten minutes and at other times much longer. When I choose to walk in instead of waiting in the never ending drive thru, the number of customers lined up inside is just as bad.
I've even had staff tell me they were sorry but they were short staffed and that's what the hold up was.
I recently stood at the register to order for about 4-5 minutes when finally seeing a young man mopping the floor. I stopped and asked if there was anyone working the register and his comment was "yes, that's me".
I know the franchise owners personally and have made online complaints, which were handled exceptionally. One would hope that with continued complaints that things would change. Apparently that's not the case. Or in reality, most customers don't take the time to complain I don't ever see the double drive thru improving and I don't blame the owners, I blame the lack of pride of the staff and possibly poor training.
To hear a front register staff member say "I'm sorry, I only work here", is absolutely unacceptable.

I came by Mon Nov. 28th and ordered a simple chocolate frosty. I stood and waited for the frosty.. just kept waiting. 10 minutes in, I grabbed the attention of one of the ladies working and she said just a minute, buddy. Calling me buddy. I know it sounds silly but I'm an older man and I have a son. It is wrong to call me a name like that, in my book. 10 more minutes went by as they kept pushing orders out of the drive thru. Finally 20 minutes in, they gave me my simple little frosty. Thats honestly a little pathetic that it took 20 minutes to give me my frosty. I couldn't believe the lack of service. I got home and called the store... I asked to speak to the manager and was told The managers not here. and hung up on. Theres always a manager there. I called back and they didnt answer. Don't like that bad service, Wendys. You guys have to pick it up. Maybe stop the lying too because they always have a manager...
