Amazing! As a total wine geek, Ancestrale has an absolutely fantastic and diverse wine list. Chenin, Austrian Riesling, burgundy, Bordeaux, domestics and our recommended selection from the owner, a Royal Tokaj Furmint, which was exceptional and so nice. The selections are well thought out, the eats are flavor bombs, but simplistic, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. And then the bread, fuggetaboudit! Brought in from Brooklyn NY that was simply insane. The crunch is nothing like you get on the west coast. Maybe Lt. Col. Frank Slade (Scent of a Woman) was right all along. A perfect European-style lunch spot. I had a can of tinned octopus with excellent toasted bread that was unique and tasty. The Sin and Tonic (non-alcoholic) tasted just like a G&T. The whole cocktail lost looked very fun, I hope to go back soon for the vermut and wine.
