Everything I had exceeded my expectation including curly fries. Bulgogi burger was intriguing but I had to try classic cheeseburger also. Both were SO GOOD. Cheeseburger was rich, smoky, cheesy goodness with drizzling au jus just about every bite. And bulgogi burger… omg it is amazing. The sweet sautéed onion and then meaty saltiness with crunchy French roll. I took so many bites and wanted more. It’s pretty good sized burger too. I normally leave some buns when I eat burgers or sandwiches, but bun to meat ratio was on point. Also, I couldn’t help but notice how spanking clean this place is despite looking nostalgic old school establishment. Tables, countertops, salt and pepper shakers, floor, chairs, ketchup spouts, etc all clean. No stickiness, no dust, no dried sauce. Full of locals, attentive and personal service to everyone dining here. I’m not a local here but it’s worth coming back for. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

From all the burger places you are to visit this place is a must to feel the authenticity and they taste of a real American burger. Fresh meat that is grinder daily from the fresh cut meats and made into a patty, grilled juicy and tender. Freshly cut tomatoes and greens make the burger look up and ready to be consumed. Surprisingly even the bacon added to JJ’s burger was not greasy and completed the taste. The bun was fluffy and dry. Inside interior might need a bit of a touchup, however it sure feels the place with the authenticity of an old days. Place is ran by its owner, who was on site and actively cooking and serving the clients. Thank you John for keeping the pace off Georgia’s Giant Hamburgers the way it is. All in all we’ve found our self a place in Walnut Creek to satisfy our burger crave.

Food is consistently made well. From the grinding process to the cooking process, the quality and taste of their burgers is highly consistent. They take online orders and orders over the phone. The service is speedy and professional. The atmosphere is simple but cozy and relaxing. Chairs are confy to lay back in. Come on by if you're in the mood for a large burger that's sure to fill you up or if you just need a respite from the hustle and bustle of your busy day-to-day life. The people that own, operate and make George's Giant Burgers what it is, will never let you down. They'll always attempt to be the highlight of your day. Thanks for everything! They take cash and card and tap to pay, cheers!

The food here is amazing. Just a nice old fashioned hamburger joint with a few other unique and equally great additions to the menu. As good as the food is, what truly makes it old fashioned to me is the staff. The whole staff works hard and is so professional. The gentleman that owns and runs the place (I’m assuming George) is first class in every way and his relationship with customers really put me in awe. I’ve been meaning to write this for a few weeks but things have been so hectic and I wanted to make sure I gave this comment the attention it deserved. While I was waiting for my order, I overheard a conversation the owner had with an elderly gentleman that truly touched me. Seriously. He took the time to actually listen to the customer, where for some reason I feel as though others wouldn’t. They talked about how times are tough, and we need to watch out for each other. How things will get better and what we as a community around Walnut Creek can do to help one another. It was something about the old man’s demeanor, as if someone was actually seeing him and acknowledging him for the first time in a while. None of the other customers in line were bothered by the time they took to talk. Must have been at least a 5 minute conversation. Everyone just seemed to be relaxed. The vibes of the place just put everyone at ease. It felt like the Walnut Creek I remember when I was growing up. So much as changed and society is so fast now that it truly made my afternoon to see the interaction. It gave me a lot of hope for the future and inspired me to take that same attitude and vibe with those I interact with. To the owner if you’re reading this, you’re an outstanding human being and I find myself so lucky to have witnessed the interaction. Thanks for making a fantastic menu, and most importantly, a fantastic shop atmosphere. I’ll be a...

I came in in the last hour before it closed. I kept hearing about this place, but I never visited it, so I guess today was good as any other.

When you walk in you can feel the history all around the walls which tells a story per say. I was lucky enough to meet the owner himself briefly and noticed that he hasn't seen my face around and gets acquainted with me. I just ordered the simplest menu I can acquire good old fashion cheeseburger and fries, though I was also tempted to also purchase the martinelli sparkling cider soda.

The burger is plain and simple nice fluffy bun, meat and cheese burger any other toppings you can serve them yourself, though I gotta say after I was very intrigued to try the " house spicy mayonnaise " which hit it out if the ball park for me as a good sauce for the burger. Fries were also fresh and simplestic, the first thing I notice is there isn't any salt like most restaurants, but I'd say it was good without the salt.

Overall, food is classic and fresh, a good decent meal price sits around for $10 which is not bad in my book, but the cake that takes it for me is the socializing of the place. The kitchen and front counter was close enough for employees not to do only work, but also strike conversations with customer alike. It has a sense of community to it, just like one other family burger place back in Mariposa where you can just talk with any other people who are also dining in the place, which is a rare thing to find in any burger place.

So it's a great place, good people, good food and good community. I would head back there again to try out that Hawaiian burger and hopefully succumb myself to get that Martinelli drink I...

Wow me and my friend walked in right when they opened 11am an ordered there special three paddy hamburger with everything plus extra pickles and side of fries.... of course a large soda! These choices are priced high with single order at $17 dollars... That was our choice because George's is a icon in down town Walnut Creek... Now there are choices that are for the family on a budget and don't go overboard like me and my friend did... The three decker is more than a mouth full mine cooked medium was full of juice I held it up an it just flowed..... u would think I turned on a faucet the onion the cheese the pickles each bite had crisp hit in your mouth with flavor also and don't forget the fries r snappy no limp fries here with choice of catchup or mustard sorry folks I always go mustard with dash of tabasco sauce..... Now if you're in the area just a walk across from Walnut Creek Kaiser Permanente treat yourself or your family to a sit down hamburger joint that has old joint feel! See ya soon..... Have a Great day! Happy...
