Noah's NY Bagels — Restaurant in Walnut Creek

Suboptimal customer experience. I waited almost 20 minutes for two toasted bagels and cream cheese and a lox sandwich. I only received two out of the three of the items. I was told by the preparer that after all that time waiting that that was my problem because I must have not ordered it. If I wanted another bagel, I would have to wait in line and pay all over again. This did not appeal to me because there was a another long line queue up. I asked if I could speak with the manager and she told me the cashier WAS the manager on duty. It was reiterated that I would not get my second bagel (which they had made by this point) unless I started over in line. UGH!! I worked in a service job for many years. Based on my training as a store manager, I would have apologized to the customer for the mistake, for the long wait and comped the bagel. Would not recommend and will never return. Hope that 1 bagel...

Came here today 7/18/19 230 pm. First time here. I ordered a turkey avocado club. Also a bacon cheese bagel to go. When I thought my order was done they called my name set two lunch sack on the counter. I looked one bag only seen one items in it so asked if both bags where mine. She said yes. So I went to go sit down at a table to eat my turkey avocado club. I pulled out a sandwich I didn’t order and I realized it when I opened it up and looked at it. And I touched it. So I looked in my other bag and there was my turkey avocado I order but no bacon cheese bagel. So I took the other sandwich back up to the counter and told the lady. She looked at me like it was my fault and was rude. Then proceed to rewrap it then gave out to the right customer after I touched it. Then I got my bagel. The service sucked and not a good first...

Previously my favorite breakfast place.(see previous review below). The management changed early 2019 and it's a complete mess. The bread are either undercooked or overcooked. They always forget to toast or they burn the bread. The cashier machines are not working. The dirty carpets are piled on top of high chairs that are supposed to be clean....Alas it was so good before.

Hlived on the east coast for the past 9 years, including in New York for 6 years, I can comment comfortably on the bagel quality, Very good for west coast. Not exactly New York bagel but still very good. As a regular customer, I can confidently say that the service is consistently excellent: fast and friendly and the place is always organized. For someone from the other side of the continent, the Noah chain is similar to Einstein Bagels but comparably...
