If I could give it 0 stars I would. The workers seemed as though they hate their job and don’t want to serve anyone. The minute we walked in, they were looking at us as if they were irritated but we disregarded it because we were all in good moods. Before taking our order the first woman asked us if we still wanted to stay because she will not be taking separate tabs since it will take too long to “run everyone’s card separately”. Which was a little weird. But we still ordered. When taking my party’s order both women who were taking care of us had attitudes. Any questions we had about the drinks their responses were extremely unwelcoming & condescending. Again, we disregarded it. The second woman who came to us gave us a bill before we even got our drinks/finished ordering. She walked up and said “I put all of your drinks on one tab I’ll leave it here”. Mind you we were still looking at the menu & talking about what drinks we were gonna get. After feeling unwanted and waiting too long we decided to leave. When we got up the server yelled at us that we had to pay or they’re calling the police. Nobody even had a chance to take a sip out of our drinks because half of us didn’t order and the other half didn’t receive their drinks (except for maybe 2 or 3 who didn’t even drink touch it as they were waiting for everyone to get their drinks as well). Regardless, the service was terrible. It felt as though the establishment had instantly passed judgement the minute we walked through the door. I wouldn’t recommend coming here, especially if you have a big party and are a...
Read moreTiki Tom's is a cocktail bar that offers a unique and immersive experience. The ambiance is truly one of a kind, with a perfect blend of a ship interior and an island hut. The recent renovations to the property have only improved the overall look and feel of the bar. With mermaids, ropes, and various tropical decorations, the bar transports you to a different world as soon as you walk in.
The drinks menu is expansive, with a variety of cocktails to choose from. I had the opportunity to try several of the drinks and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor of each! The Painkiller is my typical go-to, which was delicious and well-made, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tropical flavors. The Bar is lava was a delightful tequila surprise that packed a punch with its bold flavors. The Saturn had a nice balance of gin that wasn’t overpowering. Finally, the Three dots and a dash is a newer mainstay and easy to get down.
In addition to the impressive drinks, Tiki Tom's also offers decent bar seating and plenty of table areas for food and larger groups. The seating arrangements make it a perfect place to gather with friends or have a one-on-one evening.
Overall, Tiki Tom's is a fun cocktail bar that offers a unique and immersive experience. The drinks are well-made and flavorful, and the ambiance is truly one of a kind. If you're looking for a tropical escape in the heart of the city, Tiki Tom's is the perfect...
Read moreI love the atmosphere of this place it’s the best. I have only ever visited twice and my experiences were completely different. Upon sitting, my friends and I were greeted by a waitress with a sour tone. Then she asked to see IDs (we are all in our 20s so it’s understandable) and then she asks to keep a card on file. Now this is where I start to suspect ageism since the first time (same size party) I went we were not asked to keep a card on file and we were all in our 20s as well. There was another party (same amount of people) that was seated next to us that got their orders taken first and were not asked to provide a card to keep on file. This party was full of older men. Now I thought it was quite odd of the waitress to ask for our card but not theirs. The sour attitude remained throughout our stay up until we were helped by a different waitress when we asked for the check. Also not to mention that my second drink took well over 20 minutes to arrive and the restaurant was not that packed. I love the environment of this restaurant and it is genuinely unique. The drinks were okay but I don’t think they’re too expensive. It’s just sad that the waitress had to treat us with that attitude simply based on our ages (I assume) we still left a tip out of good gesture but I don’t think i’ll be back simply based on that waitress. We went there to have fun so that was the last thing we...
