Youngstown born and raised. Very proud of my hometown so when I moved here I was very happy to hear there was a â Youngstown themed barâ in Columbus. If youâre from Youngstown and are excited to go here, donât. Bartender was from Austintown and was working today. When we asked him when was the last time he went home, he stated, â there is no reason to go back thereâ. Went in with two friends from Youngstown who came down this weekend. The owner is very nice but was not in today. I was mentioning to my friends that they are a Youngstown bar and was showing them the many items on the menu that are Youngstown themed. As he heard our conversation, he interrupted and said âwe are not a Youngstown barâ. We were surprised at that response, based on their google explination and menu, and Youngstown decor. We then looked up at the white board, and Wednesdayâs are âYoungstown theme nightâ. After our confusion we questioned him⊠he responded, âif you keep bringing this up Iâll be happy to walk you outâ. We cashed out and left. Very disappointing and surprised at the response and negativity. If I owned this great place, I would be very concerned about having him on staff. As I said, the owner is very nice but Iâm not sure he is aware of his staffs attitude. Very disappointing. Donât advertise you are a Youngstown bar and hire people who donât have the pride from being from there. Wonât be back....

Atmosphere is what it should beâŠwelcoming! But not to anyone who isnât welcoming, itâs just âhey buddy, hey guyâ at that point. STAFF is always on point. When it gets busy, they let you know they are so maybe expect a wait in the food. When itâs slow, they are always there to entertain questions and explain the Michael Jordan bottles on the wall. You feel like family sitting at the bar.
Came for the pizza, left with the Malört addiction.
I will say, the pizza is really good, but not every pie is for everyone. Iâve had a couple different ones and loved some and was indifferent but left satisfied. On the other hand, my buddy was saying the same thing with opposite my tastes.
Best part, itâs so reasonably priced you can try 2 or 3 pies to find the one or two you will always getâŠ.And thatâs how it should be...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I go to bridge park regularly and have always had our eye on this place but never gone in until yesterday. We thought it looked great and had VR and darts, but barely had a chance to look before the bartender angrily rushed up to tell us the place was closed, which clearly wasnât, as the door was open and the bar was full. He then clarified that there was a work party, and we had to leave. As service industry workers ourselves, we would not treat patrons the way he did, and will not be returning. There are other pizza and beer options within walking distance. Please have a sign next time, and treat all customers with respect as we did by understanding and leaving quickly. I hope others did not have the same experience we did that day by...
