I begin with a candid confession. I did not intend to eat here today, but since the closing of my planned restaurant thwarted my original desires, I decided to walk around to see what else looked decent. That’s when I came across Coastline Oyster Co. And, I’m glad that I did. Turns out that today was their opening day and I was something like the fifth customer. Everything was perfect. Service was super attentive and the food (paired with wine) was delicious. The oysters were not only sweet, clean, and phenomenal, but came with three different sauces that are too unique but savory to describe. The cioppino was also out of this world. It had deep flavor that paired well with both its seafood and wine. Give it a try, especially if you are looking at our region’s distinct Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic recipes and culinary joys.
