As a casual cafe, it's really solid and we generally enjoyed the things we tried for lunch.
Chicken Gyro (Juicy Grilled Chicken, homemade fresh oven- roasted potatoes, tomato, cucumber, secret gyro sauce, warm pita) - nothing spectacular about the flavor but the chicken quality was high, and it was well seasoned and grilled. The potatoes were underwhelming and there were a lot of them. Everything else was fine.
Lamb Kebab (Lamb , homemade fresh oven- roasted potatoes, tomato, cucumber, gyro sauce, warm pita) - Very tasty lamb bites, and the feta cheese dip and the yogurt sauce made this a delicious dish.
Short Rib (Home-made braised short rib, Havarti cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, mustard aioli on a homemade ciabatta) - Probably my favorite item. The flavor of the mushrooms, caramelized onions and short rib on its own was excellent, but just heavenly with the fresh ciabatta bread and mustard aoli. Must try if you're there.
I'd return for the short rib and maybe the lamb, but would pass on the chicken.
Service was solid, you order at the front and they bring your food out to you, typical fast casual format.
Decor is vibrant and relaxed, and there is a spaciousness to the long...
Read moreGreat new bakery and cafe in Georgetown! They have unique coffee drinks and breakfast or lunch food to choose from. My friend recommended the iced strawberry latte with oat milk. It's a nice fruity latte and so pretty too. For food I tried their chicken gyro plate. It came with chicken, potatoes, cucumber, pickles, tomatoes, labneh and pita. It's build your own gyro style. The chicken was seasoned well and was a satisfying meal.
Unfortunately there wasn't any Wi-Fi to get work done so I connected to my own hotspot, but there are seats available both inside and outside. The decor is cute and the variety available on the menu is great for vegetarians and vegans also. Overall I can definitely see myself coming back to try their other coffee drinks, specifically the...
Read moreFeta is already a Georgetown gem. The service is both kind and quick, and the cafe's interior is lovingly decorated in pretty shades of blue and purple. I was very impressed with the menu: The prices are reasonable for the area, and the choices abound.
There are a variety of coffee-based beverages (Frappuccinos included), as well as juices and "ice-cream based drinks." Meal options include sandwiches, gyros, salads, and tartines.
On two different occasions I ordered some fresh cookies and the chicken gyro platter - both of which were delectable. The secret gyro sauce is particularly delicious! I will certainly be...
