This place needs managers in witness a Muslim woman cursing out a homeless man for five cents short. I ask her what was his bill she told me to mind my business or she'll call the police I said I seek refuge from the evils that crawl an slither an from the evils eye I seek Allah an he is my protector. She then walked away an an gave him his food. I gave him 20$ an said it is yours your travel your burden is not yours alone we all share the wieght. She came back with his food an she never gave me mines. So I asked where it was she pointed in the trash an said next. All ten of use together started calling the number on the managers picture she walked away an called the police he walked up an said give them there food an pointed at a camera over our heads an said I've been watching an listening this whole time so we git our food an she gave me 29 dollars over she was supposed to give me 2.90 cent back. I laughed an walked away. Ten proud Muslim men all walked away with more then we spent Abdul never paid for his food an insisted on paying the second young lady gave us all more then we asked for. Hector needs to give manager classes. The homeless is not a he problem it's the people that could help is the problem you throw away more food then you sell give it to them give them a job let them clean up dump trash give them a sighn saying McDonald's this way. I will never eat there again an either will my family an friends. I billion served not one...

You can’t go wrong with a McDonald’s breakfast when travelling on an early Amtrak, and the small McDonald’s at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station didn’t disappoint when we visited at 6:30am on the morning of Memorial Day, Monday May 26, 2025.
Unusually, the McDonald’s didn’t have electronic kiosks but we were served quickly by the cashier. We ordered:
🥯 Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel and hash brown = $10.09 ☕️ Premium Roast coffee upcharge = $.40 🍔 Sausage & Egg McMuffin and hash brown = $8.69 ➕ Extra sausage = $2.19 🍊 Orange juice upcharge = $1.50 😢 Tax = $2.29 💰 Total = $25.16
A similar order, at Boston’s North Station last summer, cost us $20.40, once again showing the rising cost of eating at McDonald’s. Despite this we enjoyed our food as we travelled south from D.C., bound for a few days at Williamsburg in Virginia.
On our last visit to D.C., in summer 2017, our train suffered a severe delay and we had a long wait at the station, so we got our supper from this McDonald’s. We can say that the breakfast was...
Read moreService was fast and friendly during my June 2019 visits to this McDonald's in Union Station. It opens at 4 a.m. according to an employee.
I enjoyed eating breakfast here on June 21 and 22nd, 2019. The hotcakes, hash browns, oatmeal, and orange juice that I ordered were all tasty.
The restaurant apparently closes a bit after 11 p.m.. Soon after my arrival at Union Station on the evening of June 20 around 11:30 p.m. or 11:45 p.m., when I visited the restaurant an employee informed me and other customers waiting to order that they were closing and only had a few things left. I ordered French fries and an orange juice, which were tasty.
The restaurant is located on the same level as the Union Station exits that lead toward the United States Capitol Building. This is one level above the numerous restaurants on the lower level of Union Station. And, it is below the levels where Amtrak Trains and buses arrive.
For a reasonably priced, tasty meal I recommend this restaurant. It may be the best place in Washington, DC, for a reasonably priced early...
