Potbelly — Restaurant in Washington

Attempted to dispense Diet Coke at lunch this afternoon, ended up getting splashed because the staff forgot to attach the nozzle to the dispenser. Went over to tell the staff and to show them that I'd been splashed and that my shirt was stained. They looked at me blankly and didn't respond. I went over to the machine and told the next customer not to use the Diet Coke and sat down to dry myself off as best I could. Unfortunately that customer didn't tell the person behind him and that person also got splashed! A couple of customers sitting near the machine reported that others had been splashed as well. A staff member did eventually come out and re-attached the nozzle and fixed the machine. Mechanical problems are frequent at this location, the front door is often broken and the table-tops can be wobbly. Despite these issues, the location is popular, lunchtime lines are very long...

This is ridiculous. I have ordered quite a few times from this store as it is one of the only healthy options near me and it is almost always wrong. Today my salad had blue cheese instead of feta and no bacon. This regularly happens where I order feta and the salad is made with blue cheese. I also constantly do not get avocado when I order it and have stopped ordering it due to the hassle. The online order time has improved over the last couple months with orders being ready when they are supposed to be, instead of waiting for 20 minutes after the order is supposed to be done. The first couple times this happened I let it go because I completely believe that people make mistakes but it is getting terribly frustrating to expect something and have it be something else...

First visit to a Potbelly Sandwich Shop and it disappointed. The restaurant was filthy and the service was horrible. Staff did not want to be there and they didn't have any problem proving it. We were the only people in the restaurant and they acted like they could care less. Wait in an excessive amount of time for them to take our order and then to make the food. The hot sandwiches were cold by the time they finally completed them. We sat outside to eat and an employee topped off the experience by walking out the door and lighting up a cigarette and the breeze carried the smoke right to our table. This was last Sunday, 3/16. Maybe they do better during the week. I hope all their stores aren't run like this. After that experience I'm not so sure I want...
