The African American girl with the short hair yesterday was really sweet she helped me with my iced caramel macchioto. The other Caucasian girl I had to say excuse me to multiple times for different items like light ice in my ice coffee bc my coffee melted she ignored me half the time bc I guess she didn't want to be bothered. I walk with assistance so I did need help with my coffee cup holders but the Caucasian girl told me there wasn't any if I knew names I would of listed them by names not description. But I need my hands so I'm not able to carry everything I usually put my coffee in my book bag in a Starbucks cup holder in a Starbucks bag with a Starbucks sticker to cover the lid part bc it almost spilled. But I had to ask for all these things with the same Caucasian girl that wanted to be not bothered & doing the blenders & handing out the coffees. But in the end she did explain that they were out of cupholders. Which I completely understand but for people like me that walk with assistant cupholders are Nessessary for me. Bc the items have to go in my book bag bc yesterday I didn't even get to drink not even half my coffee.bc it spilled all of it on the way out. So if I do come nxt time there need to be cupholders and paper small carry bags to put them in bc I recieved...
Read morewanted to share an experience I had recently at your store. I visited with two coworkers for drinks. I was the first to place my order — 2 shots of blonde espresso with extra vanilla sweet cream cold foam. While placing my order, one of the baristas (I believe she spoke Spanish) came over to the screen and repeatedly said to the cashier, "Charge her." She seemed to assume I hadn’t been charged properly. I was charged $2.50 plus the cost of the espresso shots, so everything was handled correctly at the register. However, the issue came when it was time to prepare my drink. That same barista ignored my order and didn’t start making it, seemingly because she believed it hadn’t been paid for. She went on to take the next orders — my coworker’s grande cold brew and another friend's tall latte. Thankfully, the cashier noticed what was happening and kindly stepped in to make my drink herself, which I really appreciated. Her quick action and customer care made a big difference, and I’d like to thank her for that. That said, I felt overlooked and judged unfairly by the other barista, which affected my experience. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and service consistency in the future. Thank you...
Read moreI was just there, 11/15/2016 8:40 pm. I am a student. I was near by so I came in to grab a quick coffee. Place was clean, not as much customers as in the daytime. I kindly greeted the cashier lady and asked if there were coffee left. And she asked what size. I replied with grande blonde. It was all fine, until she turned around to pour the coffee and she started to snicker and imitate what I just asked, repeating "do you have any coffee left?" She repeated it, not directly to me, to her coworkers who also cracked smiles, and to herself, trying to imitate me. I personally found this very offensive and rude. I did not find her humor funny and her attitude throughout the event did not help either. I know that the starbucks in GWU hospital is open 24 hours (I volunteer there). But all I did was kindly ask to make sure that there were brewed coffee because I didn't want to wait until it was brewed again. Her response was unwarranted and very unprofessional. They did not wear name tags either. I just don't want this to happen ever again, even if the starbucks workers had the worst day, long night, whatever the excuse, because so did we or you just did. Please don't be the...
