I was very excited to try this place because my husband had put it on a pedestal for a couple of years before we had gone. The first issue that I had was the fact that they took cash only. The service was horrific. The people were very rude, very cold, no customer service, which was very surprising to me given that it seemed to be kind of a family owned business. As someone that has worked as management with 20+ years of customer service I really expected much more than what we received as far as customer service went. What really got me though was the fact that the hamburgers were incredibly dry, there were no condiments to be found. Not to mention the fact that we were told that in order to have condiments, like mayo, we had to pay extra. I don’t understand why you would make me pay extra for a condiment that is naturally on a burger. A can of soda was something like $3 each. The atmosphere was very dull. It really seemed to give off the same energy as the people at the counter. My husband was so disappointed, he couldn’t believe what he had just experienced after years of telling me how wonderful this place was. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what changed, but the food is not worth it. The customer service makes it especially not worth it, the fact that it’s cash only is absolutely crazy, and the complete coldness of the employees is enough for me to say that I will never return there nor will I ever recommend them to anybody. I truly hope they figure it out and bring back the establishment that my husband...
Read moreOrdered delivery to my job and driver was extremely rude. Even after giving him a tip, he continued to be rude. Told him if he was so unhappy having to wait 2 minutes for me to walk across the department to him, I could just take my business somewhere else. His response was "I'm fine with that" as he walked off Food is great and I've ordered food from them for years, but this experience was really disappointing. Not to mention embarrassing in front of co-workers who commented on how rude he was and that they would never order from a place like that.
Edit/Update: This happened with the Wasilla location. I tried to call them numerous times to deal with this, and no one would answer the phone. I called the Palmer location and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, and I spoke to an employee named Robert who said he would have the Wasilla manager call me. He even called me back himself, two hours later, to see if the manager had contacted me after he spoke to him. The Wasilla manager still has not bothered to contact me or reach out to me to resolve this...
Read moreThis is the third time I’ve ate here. My niece and nephew love it. Food is made fresh like I have to wait a few before touching these hot @$$ fries because they are so fresh. Service is quick burgers are solid. On the go this place hits far better than Mickey deez. I’m hoping I can order from the secret menu soon I heard it’s even better but ingredients are limited so it’s a if you know you know situation. It’s a cool spot for a quick bite. Lots of interesting history on the walls for those locals into nostalgia. I had the breakfast burger with egg and bacon and it felt like I was in a YouTube short. Bacon was crispy egg was perfectly cooked. Better than Red Robin and way more affordable. May not be for everyone if your expecting a gourmet atmosphere but for a quick bite for the value this place hits especially if your on the road and want something better then gas station bs and fast food franchise. They have a good selection of appetizers and burgers variations I really enjoy when...
