August 13, 2025 – McDonald’s Experience Today, my fiancé and I were craving McDonald’s. We knew it was the first day of school in the area, so the after-school rush would likely make things busy. To avoid a long wait, we placed our order through the mobile app at 3:57 p.m., hoping it would be ready when we arrived. We got there at 4:05 p.m. and parked in Stall #6 for Mobile Order Curbside Pickup. Two other cars were already waiting. After a while, one car drove off, and the driver of the other car walked inside—probably tired of waiting. We decided to give it a bit more time, but by 4:30 p.m., I went inside to check on our order. I stood there waiting to be acknowledged, but no one addressed me. A staff member then asked the woman next to me if her order was under my name. I chimed in that it was mine, and it was obvious the order had been sitting there for a while—the whipped cream on my Caramel Frappe was completely flat. I finally got the order and brought it back to the truck. I checked it before leaving—since this location has a history of mistakes—and, surprisingly, everything was correct. We decided to eat in the parking lot. However, when I opened my Quarter Pounder with Cheese, the bottom bun was rock hard. I marched back inside and asked for a remake. Thankfully, there were no issues this time, and they even upgraded it to a Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese and added an apple pie. That part was the smoothest part of the entire experience—besides actually placing the order. Long story short: We won’t be visiting this McDonald’s during after-school hours again. If we do return, it’ll be during the slowest...
Read moreIf you want FRESH Fries, don't go here anymore. Watched 2 employees dump 4 baskets of fries into the pan, and just start spooning them into containers where they become soggy little potato worms instead of the crisp, lightly crunchy fries they are supposed to be. My burgers were placed "off the line" behind happy meal cartons, for nearly 5 minutes waiting on all those fries, meanwhile of the 2 orders I had, MOST of those two were sitting in the rack in their cartons, getting soggy, waiting for a top off on one to complete my order. Well, the mass dump of fries doesn't exactly salt well, so I got 2 packets of salt from the condiment rack. I get to my table and open a packet of salt, and clumps come out. I checked the other. Same thing. I went back to look through the bin and ALL of the salt packets had been wet and were compacted. I don't want to drive 10 miles to Red Oak rather than 4 miles to Waxahachie to have McDonald's with my son (we have been doing this for years) but I'm gonna have to, as I have mentioned the quality deficiency to several employees and apparently they don't care much about their product. Just take a look at the picture. These have not been ordered yet. I understand attempting to be efficient, but exchanging efficiency for quality don't cut it. No idea what happened to the 2 or 3 adult ladies that used to work here as managers, but we never had this happen when they did. See you in Red Oak, or Midlothian, or Italy, or Ennis,...
Read moreI received the most terrible experience from this McDonald's on Wednesday 7/8/20 @ 10:15PM (Roughly). If I could put 0 stars or negative stars I absolutely would. I went to place my order at the drive-thru and ordered a big Mac meal with a large fry and a caramel mocha frappe and then I proceeded to order a 20 piece nugget a large fry and a large Sprite to go with it. As I pulled to the window to pick up my order they tell me it was a McDouble and everything else I ordered instead of the big Mac meal so I asked her to repeat my order and she screamed 20 piece nugget at me as if she was upset with me. I proceeded to ask if my drinks are ready and then she asked me sarcastically what I had on my order as the other employee came to help me, the other employee reassured me that I had the Sprite and the caramel mocha frappe I told her yes and that the meal was incorrect for the big Mac and the same lady gave me a sarcastic attitude and proceeded to tell me to pull forward as if I inconvenienced her because they messed up. This is not a way to treat a customer, I am a general manager of a restaurant myself and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and I have worked in the restaurant for my entire career. I will never be going back here again. The rude employee was a middle aged Hispanic woman. This type of attitude is unacceptable in the restaurant business regardless of what's going on in your...
