Got there with my wife 3rd day they were open a little after 12. Was pleasantly surprised it wasn't busy at all. Maybe only half capacity. We were sat down and given a water. Waited a couple minutes until the server came to us. Wife tried ordering drink from the menu and first one the waitress "couldn't find on my menu so it must be out". Wife then kept looking while I ordered my drink which was apparently out stock as well. So we both decided on a frozen drink. Ordered that and waitress said she would take our food order when she brought the drinks out. So we sat and waited and while we did a family was seated right behind us. Waitress introduced herself to them and assured us our drinks were coming as "they were getting more syrup". No order taken. She left again, came back to their table with waters and again stopped to say our drinks were still coming. Still no order taken. She gave the people behind us their waters, took their drink orders and then proceeded to take their food order. 😳 After that she literally walked up to us and told us the ingredients they needed to make our frozen drinks was out and asked if we wanted to order something else. We were already amazed enough that she took their order before ours after we had already sat there for 15 minutes and all we'd gotten was a glass of water. The 3rd drink being out of stock after waiting 15 mins and being told twice it was coming was the last straw. We left around 12:33. Video will show us seated on the north wall and I'm wearing a camo jacket and navy blue and white hat if management wants to see for themselves. Again, we left around 12:33. I understand it's a new business and good help is hard to find right now. This isn't meant to be a smear campaign or anything like that this is actually my wife and I's first time to a D&Bs and I'm sure 99% of people have a great experience. I believe 90% of the dining experience is dependent on whether you have a good server or not and I'm afraid we didnt have that at all. But this was very disappointing and it will be a while if we try it again if ever. Good luck to you and hope it's a success though. Its neat to have D&Bs in town I just don't see all the hype after our experience. Best wishes and hope people have better dining experiences...
Read moreWe went on a Friday evening at 6 pm. There were maybe 5 tables of people seated which really surprised me. I figured on a beautiful Friday evening it would be packed. I should’ve taken it as a hint though. The service was terrible. They brought my husband’s food to the wrong table so after already waiting 30 minutes, he had to wait an additional 10 for them to make him another burger. The kids meal portion is laughable. It took my kid about 3 bites to finish the Mac and cheese they gave him and he complained he was still starving (mind you, this Mac and cheese cost me $6 and didn’t even come with a side). My salad was drenched in dressing to the point that it was dripping from my fork. Our server never came to check on us. Never refilled our empty drinks. I don’t think I ever even saw her smile. When we were seated she walked over to us and said “what do you want to drink” and was so cold towards us. Didn’t seem like she likes her job very much. Then she stood behind the counter talking to coworkers while her three tables tried to flag her down to pay their checks. I sat and waited for 20+ minutes after my husband and child went to play games just for her to come over and give me a ticket to pay. I’ve been to this Dave and Busters about 5 times, and I have never been impressed with the quality of the food. It’s usually cold or tasteless. The only reason why we will ever come back is for games, but their games are outrageously expensive unless you go on a Wednesday. It’s definitely not worth the hype whatsoever, and I think Sioux Falls is catching on which is why it was absolutely dead in there on a...
Read moreThe delicious menu variety and entertainment really make up for the terrible service. We used to go to Dave & Buster all the time when we lived in the islands, and we kind of enjoy coming to this location as well, but they need to hire better staff. The very first time we came here, around the time when it first opened, it was an ok experience. If we had any complaints from that visit, it was from our own misfortune that we created by forgetting our debit card in the power card kiosk. The staff seemed stressed out by us though. The second time we came here, our server took forever to bring anything out. And the most recent time we were here, our server was sweet, but seemed forgetful and kind of snapped at me about me trying to pay my bill. Then the prize merchant was extremely rude. She needs to find a different job. She yelled at me about trying to buy a prize for my son with my own money when I was trying to tell her I didn’t want to use all the tickets we accumulated between two power cards and that I just wanted to use one power card to open the purchase. Anyways, won’t get into anymore detail, but that whole ordeal made our last visit rather unpleasant. We will likely come back again in hopes that service improves by then because, as I said before, the food and entertainment more than make up for all this location is lacking! Although, there are only so many chances you can...
