The new drive through process 7 out of 10 on Preception 1 out of 10 on Functionality
Update: A week later. Didnt have any issues with the drink. But still not using all drive through windows, and now traffic spills into parking lot. Still not functional. For this to work, the drive through needs to be re modeled.
My order usually consists of customizing the food and ordering the drink I dont want from the app and correcting it when I go through the drive through and there isnt any issues. When I went today the taco bell staff was trying a new process in which 2 employees wait outside to take order (like chick fil a) I found out the change was to improve drive thru times. I told the employee that took my order that instead of the dr pepper i wanted a root beer (cant order that from app.) they radioed in the correction.
As im pulling up I see and empty drive thro window. (1st window which I dont remember the last time anyone actually used it.) which made me question if you were to improve time, why not use the first window. I get my drink and taste it and found out its not the root beer i tried correcting but the Dr pepper I ordered from the app.
The process that is being implemented doesnt make since on a functional level only a perception level. I had positive emotions when I was the people out side ready to take my order. But negative emotions when all that changed is instead of talking through the speaker to get my order, there was an extra human component that ended up...
Read moreI ordered a chalupa box and chalupa on the side today through the drive thru, got back to work after eating the chalupa in the box, I then go to eat the chalupa I ordered on the side and it had mold on the outside of the chalupa. Having worked in the food industry before I realize this sometimes can happen and I really wasnt mad. Then I talked to Rachel, I'm guessing a manager. Now im mad. First thing she says is, "our chalupas dont have mold" as if I'm making this stuff up. So I took it back up there uneaten and showed her there was mold. She didnt say a single word. No apology or anything just fumbled around the register to give me my money back. Zero customer service even after she basically called me a liar and I proved it she still had nothing to say. Just shoved the money in my hand dropping some of the coins that another employee picked up. This experience just makes me sick, absolutely ridiculous. Cant believe she is a manager, I would expect that behavior out of a teenager. I even made a statement about how she should be apologetic and try to fix it not be rude to me when I wasnt being rude to her and she still didnt...
Read moreMy family and I went to the Weatherford Taco Bell on Main Street for lunch. As we walked into the dinning area we immediately notice a Hispanic female dressed in a Taco Bell uniform laying down asleep in the lobby. I asked the front counter employee why the other employee was sleeping in the lobby. I was told she was the manager and the other employees couldn't say anything to her. The other employee were busy tending to the drive thru and other tasks while the manager slept in the lobby. I walked over to the sleeping manager and ask if she was ok. She raised her head off the seat and looked at me and layed her head back down. My family and I ate our lunch while the manager finished her nap. She finally woke up about 15 minutes after we arrived to eat lunch. I did make a complaint with corporate and have no heard anything yet. I did take a photo of the manager to send...
