Booked a weekend stay as an ambassador level in a suite and flew in four hours away for an event I needed to attend. First off coming in I wanted to check in early as I am allowed at that level and nothing was ready the lady in the front I assume is the manager was coming off very rude for i dont know what reason because we were early or whatever. When she looked everything up and noticed my statuses within Marriott her demeanor has changed in a full 360. 2. First morning for breakfast I made myself food and grabbed a small thing of milk and didn’t see it was 4+ days expired already! I only took a small sip and that’s how I realized it was bad. I brought it to the desk’s attention and all I got from the same lady was “ok thanks for letting us know “ no will take care of you or we’re sorry didn’t really seemed liked they cared. 3. Every single night we had to change our keys because they wouldn’t work after awhile . So we needed up with 3 used set of keys and when the very kind lady on my last night there I’ve never seen yet gave me a new not used set of keys they worked very good no problems. And she comped me some points for all the troubles I had from the previous days. 4. Ice machine on our level didn’t work again we are on the suite level. 5. The lights above the bed were about to fall out of the ceiling. 6 the front desk didn’t let me DoorDash driver up with my food after the first time is was no problem and my food was just sitting at the desk and never got a phone call letting me know it was there. 7. Woke up on my last day and I have late check out , they didn’t mark me down for late check out and I had to make last min adjustments for that and rush out of there. 8 I’m back home still haven’t got the funds back for incidentals and there is a simple issue to fix with which payment needed to be charged and the kid “cooper” trying to explain it to me not making any sense at all turned out to be a prick and I remember he is just a kid behind the counter. He had some rude and funny comments to my concerned and instead of trying to fix the issue “ he had to hang up because he had better things to take care of and a job to do he said when this is his job - this whole team sucked expect the girl that was there the last night that actually cared about the guest so five stars to her and -0 yo everyone else I will not be...
Read moreSo in July my family lost our home, I ended up in the hospital, so some friend of ours graciously gifted us a week stay here until our family could get into our new place. Gold Status. We stayed a week on our dime as well. The young man, a new father, was absolutely fantastic. He helped us feel comfortable. However, the female staff made us feel like we were unwelcome and kept doing checks on us after we explicitly told them not to We didn't use the housekeeping because we all worked different shifts and somebody was always asleep. I work nights, and they wake us up with (check-in) crap was overwhelming. We just went through a traumatic situation. And unfortunately I won't recommend this place. We cleaned up after ourselves and did our own laundry . We took out our own trash . I brought cleaning supplies, vacuum and other things to make sure we kept up with the room . We also mostly used our own toilet paper, trash bags, bedding. So we could feel comfortable after such a traumatic experience. We never disturbed anyone, we were quiet and patient. It's just really daunting and heart breaking for people to treat others that way. They were just so rude . I felt so uncomfortable that i had to even divulge what had transpired to us to even get her to listen to me. If a guest asks you to not do something, aren't you supposed to comply and not be petty because i even said something about not bothering us. Whats the point of do not disturb? Placed the sign on our door. Yet it was disregarded multiple times and extremely early. All staff clearly saw us coming and going me in my shirt that said where i work. And they needed to do a courtesy, well check up? We don't look menacing, or up to know good. Otherwise everything else was fine. That young gentleman deserves a raise for his empathy, decency and I and my family appreciate him in our time of struggle. Plus they double charged us for our stay to create yet another issue, wasting our time and I will never stay here or recommend this business ever to any incoming family I should have stayed in a different place, but since we had our hands tied financially for a few weeks because of our loss of our home and half of our things we had absolutely no choice but to stay here. I am grateful for the people who had helped us and the young gentleman...
Read moreI recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Weatherford on 2/9/24 and 2/10/24, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon my arrival, I was assigned room 201, which was not only dirty with pillows on the floor and a drink on the table but also had the main door propped open, compromising security. The receptionist claimed it was protocol, but it was evident the room was not properly cleaned.
After a dispute with the night shift staff, I was moved to room 205, which presented new issues. The room contained a forgotten rotisserie chicken in the fridge, and the main deadbolt on the door was broken, leaving the room insecure. The most unsettling discovery was the presence of cockroaches in the bathroom, making my stay thoroughly unpleasant.
Despite reporting these issues, there was no satisfactory resolution, and I decided to check out early due to the unclean conditions, security concerns, and the hassle of changing rooms twice within a day and a half. I was promised contact from the manager, especially considering my Marriott membership and frequent travels with Marriott, but unfortunately, that never happened.
Additionally, despite being assured that management would contact me to address the issues, no such communication has occurred even three days later. I was promised compensation on my Marriott account to resolve the matter, but unfortunately, this commitment has not been honored. This lack of follow-through only adds to my disappointment and reinforces my decision to avoid Fairfield Inn in the future.
This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I am deeply disappointed with the unprofessionalism displayed by the management. The lack of communication and resolution resembles service one might expect from a budget motel rather than a Marriott property. I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction, and I regret to say that I will not be choosing Fairfield Inn again. I strongly urge anyone considering accommodation in Weatherford to avoid this facility, as my experience reflects poorly on the overall quality and management of the...
