My wife and I recently booked a stay in Weatherford at this location while in town for a personal matter. We splurged a bit on a nicer room and had our infant son with us. Before I get into the negative, I should say the front desk receptionist working at the time was more than cordial and accommodating -- everything else following the check-in was a nightmare. Shortly after checking into the room very late in the evening and getting settled, one of the largest cockroaches I have ever seen crawled out from behind the television. I called the front desk and requested a fly swatter to kill it, which I did. Immediately after we searched the room and found at least a dozen more dead roaches underneath our mattress. We informed the front desk of this issue and the receptionist was very apologetic, assuring us that we would receive a refund for the stay (we were not offered another room, and were told before that the hotel was completely booked for the night at check-in). My wife and I were left having to find other accommodations late in the night and with hundreds of dollars still gone from our checking account. The following morning, we were informed that the room was "inspected" and no bugs were found, and that we would not be refunded for the first night. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that they would not be able to speak to us until the following Monday, two days later. As of today, three days later, I have not received a refund for either of the two nights that we had booked or received any response from management. They also have not responded to Booking.com's request for comment, with whom we made the reservation and have asked to take this matter seriously. Attached here are photos of the bug which they say was not in the room (I have video of the dead roaches on the bed, but Google will not let me attach it -- management has been sent that video). Cockroaches are disease-spreading bugs and I have been taken aback by the property's lack of concern over our experience and their unwillingness to provide appropriate support to us. A report will be filed to the local health department, and I will be updating this review with the hotel's response to my request to be compensated fairly. Update: I contacted Choice Hotels’ corporate customer support team and they went above and beyond to help correct this for my family. While I have continued concerns regarding this specific property (still no response from management), it was made clear to me that Choice takes this seriously and I would feel comfortable continuing to book stays with them at other locations.

First pet owners if your animal is an emotional support animal they will not accept it and will charge you a $25 pet fee even though they claim their pet friendly I did not see this information on the website when I mentioned it to Courtney at the desk she told me "it's on the website you're not going to pull that on me." And all my interactions with her with downhill from there and the entire time she was blaming me for her attitude. Then she made the remark that I could go somewhere else which was not possible since I already paid for the room through a third party then she made another remark about additional cost if I destroyed the room. And when I made another comment that I did not appreciate her attitude she again blame me for her attitude. So their customer service gets a zero their pet friendliness gets a zero so again if you have an emotional support animal they will not honor it. over all the room was nice but the bed had a strange odor in the mattress... ===seeing your response... since my support animal did not make any messes for you to clean up, why is there no refund of the $25.00 you did not use for clean up. anyway I will never use Quality Inn and will think twice about using choice for my vacation travel .. using someone's support animal to extract extra $$$ is wrong..

Gross! Not very clean. We only stayed because it was very late and we had our 2 year old who was very fussy and needed to sleep. We got a double bed and we all slept on one. The other bed had a dead fly on the pillow!! We thoroughly checked the bed we slept in. Cheap microfiber sheets, very uncomfortable. Mini fridge looked like they never wipe it down. Dirt caked on the handle. Shower was even more disgusting. Used shampoo bottle, random hair, and it looks like they never cleaned it. We left as soon as we woke up. Check out lady was meh, she was talking to two other guys and seemed like she was more eager to finish her convo with them. She did ask about stay and I did not have the energy to go into detail about everything we encountered, plus she didn’t seem much interested anyways. On the way to our car, dog sh!t and huge dead roaches on the sidewalk in front of the room doors. I honestly wished I could of cancelled our stay and gotten a room next door at the comfort inn.

Pros- The hotel location is perfect. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The room with double beds was spacious enough for me and my family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of selections including eggs, sausage, and self serve Texas shaped waffles which the kids loved.

Now for the cons- The room smelled like feet. This hotel really should get their carpets cleaned or something. It was bad. The room could use a good deep clean. I felt sticky all the time, not sure if it was the room or the environment (It’s pretty hot and humid in Texas). The card readers are messed up. We had to swipe our room key twenty times for it to finally work(I’m not even kidding). Very frustrating. Furthermore, my in laws had the room next to me and their reader stopped working late at night when we got back from a wedding. The hotel staff had to literally bust into the room through the AC unit! Also prior to this happening the AC and TV didn’t work in their room. Earlier in the day we had taken our children to the pool so they could play before we left for the aforementioned wedding and they were in the pool for about twelve minutes when these men showed up to work on the ceramic tiles running along the edge of the pool. Then some man with the hotel showed up and kicked us out saying they had to drain the pool down to do some work. Mind you this was mid morning!! This mama was not happy and I had some very disappointed children because that was literally our only opportunity to have pool time because of the wedding activities. I found out later on that we could’ve gone to the Hampton Inn next door to use their pool, I wish that man would’ve told us that!! My husband spoke to the general manager about the pool situation and she apologized but that was it. She didn’t offer any reparations of any sort so we stayed upset. My mother in law found out from the night shift manager about the pool next door.

Overall I have to say I was very disappointed with this hotel and I will be avoiding Quality Inn and Suites...

The room I had at first was comfortabl, the tub worked,ac worked well.Had to move rooms because they were doin concrete for 4 days,Told us on a Tuesday that they would start Thursday only to come back wensday and they had started and chipped paint on my truck along with the bed of truck full of chipped concrete and whole truck covered also,Noone ever said anything to us about starting wensday at all, noone knocked, called or anything never even got an apology or anything either ,After that the room that was moved to the tub doesn't work and still don't the shower head was broke but they replaced that,The ac makes noises and hard to sleep at times. Also a lady downstairs that lives here for free and pays nothing is on some drugs and trust to cause problems for anyone that has a room around her or anyone that even looks at her.If I didn't pay my $400 a week I would be locked out and have to pay to get my belongings,I see this as a big issue,Lady on drugs staying for free and causing problems.Another issue was having a maid just walking in my room without knocking or anything while having do not disturb hanging on door clearly..The ice machine near my room does not work along with key card entry door on side where my room is.The washing machine did work well until the neighboring Hampton inn came over and took it and put the one from there over here WOW.Its a smaller washer and hardly works. The dryer is good and matches the washer that was switched.Beds and pillows are comfortable. Maintenance is not up to par though, and is short cutted.Maids talk Spanish thinking noone understands what they are saying but some of us do,that talk about the co workers and people staying here, and I can promise you it's not nice. The pool area is ok have went there a few times and trash was full and smelled from days and days of not being emptied, had alot of beer sitting at tables along with trash all over,I cleaned pool of trash 3 times myself. While I have been here I have seen this place go...
