I placed a carry out order on their app at 8:28 PM and arrived approximately ten minutes later to pick up. During that time I had received a text and an app notification that the order was ready. As it turns out the order was only half ready. When the employee confirmed which order I was picking up she said “Oh, the one with the teriyaki chicken? We’re out of that.” and I was advised to pick something else. I asked when they had run out of chicken assuming there was a supply issue of some sort and to my surprise she told me they had teriyaki chicken in stock, but weren’t making any more because it was “too late” and “took too long to make”. I asked when they stopped making teriyaki chicken and was informed that the cutoff was 8:30 PM. Again I placed my order at 8:28 PM and arrived for pick it up prior to 8:40 PM. I did not place my order through a third party app or website. It was placed through their own app. If the app allows the order to be placed and paid for the store and employees should be expected to fill the order especially when their posted business hours suggest they should be open for nearly another hour. I asked for the entire order to be cancelled since I was going to have to drive to another restaurant anyway. I was first advised to cancel the order on the app, but the employee must have been unaware of the app functions because there was no option to cancel - likely because the order had already been marked as “ready” despite half of the order being apparently unavailable. I was then informed that they were unable to cancel the order at the store because their point of sale system was out of receipt paper and that I would have to call customer service tomorrow for a refund. I wonder if there was more paper in the back and it was just too close to closing time to change it out? That seems to be their philosophy. I did call customer service the next day after I googled the phone number. Their complaints area on the website directs you to a web form and does not provide a readily available phone number seemingly discouraging you from speaking to a live person. During the nearly 25 minutes I waited on hold I also completed the web form. Apparently their call center is staffed about as well as their restaurants.
Quite simply if a restaurant is no longer preparing food they are not open for business despite what the posted hours may suggest. I am extremely disappointed in this experience from both a customer service and operations standpoint. This is a poorly run business.
I would recommend anyone in the area redirect your hard earned dollars to Little Panda. Although the location is likely not as convenient for many, for approximately $1.50 more you will get better food quality, larger portions, and drastically better customer service. I for one will not be returning to...
Read moreThey are really bad about locking the lobby doors during lunch rush and dinner rush. The last 3 times I have been there, they didn't put napkins, silverware, straw, or cookie in the bag. I dash there quite often and customers always complain of no silverware or straws.
Update: I AM SO SICK OF BEING IGNORED EVERY TIME I COME IN TO PICK UP A DOORDASH ORDER!!! Why even accept doordash orders if they keep pushing them to the back? I waited 25 mins just to have someone aknowledge me. Then another 10 mins for them to START the order. You literally have to get flat out ugly with them to get them to look at you. The manager on duty Makenna locked the door at 8:39 when they dont close until 9:30. Then they all rolled their eyes when the guy walked around and came in the side door....this was before 9:00....again they don't close until 9:30. Stopped making certain foods well before closing time telling customers "were out" when they look at the cook, she turned around and said "no Im not making that". Like yall still have an hour before closing. Change the hours if yall are going to be that chapped about having to make and serve food past 9:00. Just how the restaraunt business goes. Drives me nuts because they dont have a clue Im picking up a doordash. What if I was the paying customer getting ignored like that? Absolutely ridiculous. Us dashers don't get paid by the hour. I understand it gets busy, but when they purposly don't make any eye contact and walk off numerous times after ringing someone out without asking who you are waiting for, really sends me over the edge. Yall get paid better than any other fast food place in weatherford. There is no reason to provide that kind of service. I hate to say this, but I will keep coming in there and saying whatever I need to say in a loud tone just to get their attention until this changes. Either that or contact doordash and cancel services with them because this place cant seem to accomplish the task in a...
Read moreWorst customer service experience ever this evening.
Usually great service, but not today.
Horrible service this evening. My pregnant wife wanted a large passion tea. So I went to get her one after shopping at Walmart. Very convenient.
So I got in the drive thru behind another vehicle. They finished. I pulled forward. No response. I pull forward a little and wait. No response. So I try pulling forward again and no response. It's been at least 3 minutes now.
My pregnant wife wants a passion tea, so I go inside. A family finishes up their food order so I get in line behind them as they go to pay. I hang back making it clear I'm not with this family. They pay and go to eat their food. I move up to the register, the worker looks at me and walks off to take someone else's order. What!?! The drive thru girl walks my way. Yes, I can finally get my wife's tea. Oh no, she looked at me standing by the register and kept walking. Of course. She couldn't take my order because she's the drive thru worker.
So I go back to the drive thru. My pregnant wife wants a passion tea! I will get one. So I go back to the drive thru. Roll down my window. Wait I think I hear something. Yes that was a person. I have no idea what she said because she spoke so quietly. I order my wife's passion tea. Yes!!! I pull up behind the car that ordered ahead of me on my first try in the drive thru.
The look on the drive thru girl's face was priceless. Yes, I already tried to order this same tea inside and you ignored me.
If we didn't already enjoy Panda Express, we would never go back after this fiasco of...
