Stay away from this place.
Edit below since managers reply.

Edit: I reached out to the front desk just after 10PM and told them about the water leak and THEY KNEW ABOUT IT ALREADY. They asked if it was coming from the "roof vent" and I replied back with "the one that was screwed to the ceiling to cover up water damage? Yes, that one"
The manager is supposed to call me but I can see that they would rather reply here than call.
I contacted expedia who I booked through and they called the hotel to request a refund and were told that no complaints were made.
I even showed staff pictures upon checkout...
I would be ashamed to have my name associated with this hotel. I have already began steps to report them to the Texas department of health and human services.
I will be reaching out to corporate shortly.
Let the pictures speak...
Read moreMy experience with the management of this facility was abysmal. I booked a room and purchased the insurance in case I needed to cancel for some reason. 15 minutes later I was informed my son was coming home with a fever and we would not be able to stay the night booked and had to cancel. I could not get the hotel to answer sobhad to do this online. Within 20 minutes, I was interfacing with Expedia to see if I could rebook or get a refund. They too could not get the hotel to answer their phones at 7:30 on a Friday night. 2 different agents attempted and no one on site would answer. So Expedia offered to intervene. The hotel did not respond to Expedia until 6 days later to tell them they would not grant me any leeway for a sick child. I also got a text from the hotel's guest services and I explained the situation and they said they too would intervene with the managment of this establishment. Never heard back from them. This hotel is not family friendly and has extremely poor customer service. Shame on them for not giving a single mom some help or discretion. They kept almost 200.00 dollars and refused to offer any leniency. Stay away!
Ms. Aguilar,
Your response is nonsensical and insulting. The "third party" Expedia who you are contracted with emailed me no less than three times (perhaps I should post these) saying your non response and YOUR final decision. They also said in their last correspondencethat they "advocated" for me with you, Ms. AGUILLAR for leniency and you refused. I will be taking this up with Expendia's corporate chain as well as your own. It is a very poor managerial style to blame a huge corporation that you are partnered with on your own poor management and oversight. Expedia did their part in trying to rectify this matter...which could have simply been a re booking; and instead you chose to point fingers on Expedia when you could have simply been decent.

Read moreShaun was amazing@ checkin. She was the ONLY good thing about the stay. The bathroom had tile missing in the the shower, which wouldn't have been a big deal except for a black (mold looking) coloring was in the missing tile's place. Had it just been cleaned it would have not been a big deal (tile falls off!). But seeing that dirty color in the tub was gross. The toilet had feces still in the bowl. (Not floating; “skidmark” feces that should have been simply scrubbed with a toilet bowl scrubber after the previous guest did their business). That lead me to believe our bathroom wasn't even cleaned because IF it would have been cleaned, housekeeping would have surely just "scrubbed" it even if they didn't do anything else. Then breakfast. Breakfast was served from 7am - 10am. At 8am (so plenty early enough to restock) there were no scrambled eggs left; there were only a few sausage patties left; the folded over "omelets" were scorched and dried out from sitting out too long, and, the refrigerator with yogurts/milk was locked. There was a little metal pan with ice that had two cartons of milk and two yogurts in it. A blueberry activia and a peach something else. Inside the (locked) refrigerator was Greek yogurt, however, during the ENTIRE time my daughter and I tried to piece together a suitable meal, not one time did I see an employee to ask them to unlock the refrigerator, nor did the (empty) scrambled eggs or sausage get refilled nor did the burned omelets...
