Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Webster

I just had surgery today and have not eaten in two days. I love the soup at Jason's deli for delivery, opted to get a grilled cheese and soup combo and it offers to add a salad. I get my order and it was sourdough bread with what Iooks like cold feta and tomato on my sandwich, supposed to be grilled cheese with grilled tomato on sourdough bread. No salad came. I ordered tea and got that and 2 dr peppers that I did not order.Now my soup is cold and I ordered a second one for later chicken pot . I ate that and it was good. I called to correct the order and they did. I just don't understand how the guy that took my order let them mess it up. I told him I was in dire straits and really needed the order to be correct. I was tired and just wanted to eat, lay down and recover, not sitting around waiting more on the order to be corrected. I just...

CASHIER COULD HAVE BEEN FRIENDLIER--WAS A BIT SHORT AND SEEMED IRRITATED BY QUESTIONS. I HAD ONE DINE-IN AND ONE TAKE-AWAY ORDER SO SIMPLY ASKED HOW IT WOULD BEST BE HANDLED? WAS MY 1ST VISIT TO THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION --ALWAYS VISITED ONE'S WITH A DRIVE-THRU BEFORE. FOOD WAS GOOD AND PORTIONS WERE SATISFYING. WAIT WAS NOT LONG. SERVER WAS PLEASANT. SALAD BAR SEEMED A BIT SMALL AND PRICEY AS AN ADD-ON BUT NOTICED THAT IT WAS RESTOCKED AND MAINTAINED WHILE I WAS THERE. THE DELIVERY DRIVER AND OTHER STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND ACKNOWLEDGED EVERY HOWDY. SEVERAL ADULTS WERE DINING WITH 1-2 CHILDREN AND THEY SEEMED HAPPY WITH THE MENU OPTIONS. THIS LOCATION HAS LIMITED PARKING IN THE FRONT BUT SHARES A LARGE LOT IN THE REAR WITH A POPULAR RESTAURANT. IT IS A BIT OF A WALK--SO BE ALERT AND CAREFUL. Jason’s Deli gets 5 Stars for their outstanding Reuben and NY Yankee sandwiches and 5 ⭐️ pickles. Hubby gives the Gumbo 5 ⭐️’s for flavor and 🌶️. I always order chili and it also gets 5 ⭐️’s.

Now the delivery company is a complete different story. They should really hire someone who speaks and understands English. In written directions and instructions I gave the gate code to our apartment in our retirement community. I also gave said directions verbally to the person who took our order. The delivery guy finally got in by someone letting him walk in using the walk-in in entrance and he walked around until he found us.
