Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse — Restaurant in Webster

Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite...

I went to dinner with a party of eight, after a friend gave raving reviews about the food and service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Despite having a combined check of about $300, the service and food quality were far below any acceptable standards.

From the moment we sat down, it took an agonizing 70 minutes for our food to arrive. When it finally did, it was barely warm, almost room temperature. I stay with confidence. My food had been sitting out for too long because I ordered a baked potato that arrived without butter, so I simply grabbed some from the table myself. However, the potato wasn't even hot enough to melt the butter, which was at the moment a lil funny tbh but also incredibly frustrating at the same time.

Throughout our meal, our server never inquired about our satisfaction with the food. Additionally, no manager came by to check on our table, which is a basic expectation in any decent restaurant. The server's unprofessionalism was honestly honestly impressive as well. We received only one drink refill for one persons water and when we asked about the beverages only got excuses about “bar staff being new” and then was not really seen again.

The only thing that made the experience bearable was the fact that I was with friends. However, absolutely nobody at the table had a single nice thing to say about the food or service.

For the price we paid, the experience was severely lacking. You can easily find much better food and service for half the cost at any counter-service BBQ place. We left feeling frustrated and let down, and lowkey a lil amused at...

Looked for a place to grab a late lunch, and we just hit the jackpot!!! Cool place with a nice decor, and an easy going, fun vibe. Had a great server, that gave us recommendations and was fun to talk to. Started with some pork belly bits. One of the best appetizer dishes I ever had! Pork belly cubes, tender, and cooked to perfection, with a cherry cola glaze, that made it sweet but not too sweet. They were delicious!! Don't miss on them. Next we had a brisket-ribs combo. The brisket was great. A nice smoke ring, tender, and full of flavor, and definitely not dry. The ribs were also cooked perfectly. Falling of the bone soft, with a lot of flavor. It was a big plate with a generous portion of meat. We also got a ribeye steak. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, seasoned with only salt and pepper, like a good piece of meat should. An amazing steaks!! We got 4 sides with all those dishes, and they were all good, but the corn and the glazed carrots were my favorite. Definitely get them! Since everything was great, and even though we were full, we had to get a dessert, so we got the mudslide. Great choice!
