Pupuseria Lucy's — Restaurant in Webster

I convinced my husband to allow me to take him to this place , I have been before. We waited 35 minutes for a bowl of soup, the server did not check back with us after we place the order... After long I went to the cashier to see how much longer it will take, I was told it was going to take another 10-15 minutes more. I just went there because I was sick and wanted some soup , I had been in the house for 5 days and decided I wanted a "Soup" but waiting 35 minutes and not get food is outrageous. I paid $8 for 2 lemonades, this added to the insult. We end up canceling the order and went to chipotle. This is horrible service they have 2 ladies cooking on the back and a bowl of soup shouldn't take this long, it's called being efficient. Let the costumers know of delays, don't just have them look around and wondering about their meal...(The 1 🌟 is not due to the food it's only because Google review doesn't allows me to post without a star. The worse part, is the reply from the owner below... Instead of apologizeling and trying to get a costumer back , she inquired about my star rating; this is not the way to make business, trust me we also have business, this is not the way from the business...

I ordered from this place at least twice a month because they make great pupusas. This morning, I placed a big Order as I have guests from out of town. I ordered a total of 18 breakfast tacos and four revueltas. 12 of those tacos were ordered to have bacon egg cheese chorizo.

I get there and they told me that they didn’t put cheese cause they didn’t know which cheese I wanted instead of calling me back and asking me this question they opted not to put any cheese on any of my breakfast tacos.

I let that one slide because again I’ve ordered from them before and their pupusas are on point. I get home and the breakfast tacos. Do not have any beans they do not have any cheese. They’re extremely dry and cold and I do not taste bacon nor do I taste chorizo.

I called the restaurant to let them know my experience and the manager. All he did was argue with me and ask for a photo which I have. In the end, I decided I’m not gonna argue with someone. I will post the review and I will post my photo so you guys can see. The cheese that you see in this photo, I put it on my breakfast taco.

What is the point of ordering out if you have to come home and...

Outside in front of door had trash and beer bottles. Door handle was dirty and glass door had not been cleaned. Upon counter, front female no greeting no smile. Just rude! Had to give her my order since she didn’t ask. Said it would be done in 5 mins since it was just one chicarrron pulpusa. Waited nearly 20 minutes then approached counter about to ask, when I just saw her turn to tell the 5, people in the kitchen having a conversation and nothing else to make one pulpusa to go…The actual item of food had a good flavor yet the edges were over cooked! Won’t be back. Cleanliness not close to...
