I visited this Dunkin’ today and was very disappointed. The new Sabrina’s Carpenter Strawberry Daydream Refresher just launched, and of course, I wanted to try it.
The girl who took my order has clearly been working here for a while — I’ve seen her here before. I clearly said the name of the drink, but she didn’t understand me. I had to repeat it several times and even pointed to the banner — she only understood on the fifth try.
I get that mistakes happen, but I believe employees should know the names of drinks, especially brand-new ones that just launched and are being ordered a lot.
Then, my friend and I both ordered the same drink, but you can clearly see from the photo that mine looked way brighter. It also tasted different — mine was missing oat milk, and I didn’t like it at all. The same girl made the drink, and honestly, it looked like she didn’t care and just rushed through it.
Later, I spoke to another employee — a guy — and explained the situation. He kindly added oat milk to my drink, so thank you for that.
I was ready to move on, but when we came back to order again, the same girl helped us. We ordered two donuts, and once again my friend had to repeat herself twice because the girl brought out the wrong ones — twice.
In my opinion, employees should know the menu and pay more attention to orders. That’s why I’m leaving...
Read moreI went yesterday before 10: pm. I asked for a sprinkle donut. The owner of the establishment that was attending the place with his son asked me what kind? I wasn't sure the difference and the son asked me if for a boy or a girl. I said for a boy he replied then chocolate for boys. The reason for all this explanation is for the people that sold me the three donuts last night before 10:pm remember what happened. I asked for sprinkle donut, then for a Boston Kreme donut, and a chocolate glazed donut for a total of $6.37. three donuts for $6.37. Each donut for $2.12 including taxes. I know inflation is high and everything is expensive but I thought that a single donut is .99 cents without taxes and taxes cannot be $1.12 because that would be more than a 100 percent in taxes. I know that $6.37 is not a lot of money but for three donuts it's. If $6.37 is the right amount for the three donuts and I wrong then I am sorry for this...

I'm presuming with chemical solvents. I approached her and stated that I saw her clean surfaces with those gloves. She immediately knew she made a mistake and disposed of them for a new pair
Unfortunately, this is the second instances where I saw unhygienic behavior. The same lady in the past caught a bagel she fumbled out of the toaster, in her arm. Was comical at the time because it wasn't my bagel. She cream cheesed the bagel and wrapped it for the victim.
It seems like all of the Dunkin Donuts in the NYC area operate with the same incompetent type of workforce. Maybe it's because you get what you pay for: immigrant workers that have not been taught the correct protocol in food handling. Shame on the owners, and shame on Dunkin Donuts for sleeping...
