Starbucks — Restaurant in Weslaco

Where do I begin? If I could give zero stars I would but…

My visit to this location has been the most unprofessional visit in my years of going to Starbucks. I ordered a venti drink from the drive thru but received a grande instead. The gentleman who took my order was very polite when I made him aware of the incorrect size, however the female making the order immediately showed her frustration. You could see it all over her face from outside the window. It was such poor customer service and I didn’t expect it from such an organization.

It get worse!!!!!!!

She quickly comes back with what is supposed to be the “correct order” and from a glance I could tell something was off about it but proceed to not hold up the line in the drive thru. It was discovered after taking a few sips that this female worker loaded the venti cup with whip cream at the bottom, poured the same small beverage inside and then piled more whip cream on the top to make it appear that it was remade in the right size. What a joke!

I called the store and spoke to Oscar who was the manager for the day. He advised he knew who the employee was and he would talk to her but refused to provide her name for my review. I truly hope she is properly addressed for this for the next customer’s sake. I’ve worked in customer service for years and this was completely unacceptable!

I’m not sure why honestly, but every time I order a drink from this particular starbucks, it’s as if their milk foam machine does not work… or maybe it needs to be cleaned? No idea. There’s never any foam in my drinks I notice, like other starbucks. In general their Latte’s here (specifically the white chocolate mocha) always taste below average, not the same, no foam, compared to other starbucks. and it bugs me not knowing why that is, I thought initially maybe it was just the individual barista’s but probably not. 🤔🤔 it’s something with their equipment. 1-10-23 2:08pm When I used to live near by here I would somewhat constantly stop by, only issue is the long wait in line. There isn’t much space so even exiting takes a while. Customer service is great though.

Last time I was here my fiancé and I were getting our usuals, when someone in front of us decided not to take a specific drink. A Venti Strawberry Açaí with raspberry dragonfruit and extra lemonade on the bottom. So they asked if we’d like to take it(free obviously they can’t throw it out it’d be a waste) we took it and my fiancé loved the drink.
