This place is beyond the worst. Even being a nee business that's been p and running for a year. The staff were ok however. When my coworker and I went for taco Tuesday we dined in there were no clean seats..most of them has salt in them one had sour cream in it and then to switch tables we sit at the other one that had wedges in the seats when informing the staff they blew it off came 40 minutes later to clean not sure Why so long it wasn't busy at all I went to the washroom to wash my hands before eating knocked on the door the lady well the employee the tall lady w black and brown braids yelled..it says occupied for a reason..i then went to use the men's washroom that's when I noticed public hairs on the lid also the tapilet paper was on the floor not sure who want to use this when it's contaminated the entire roll. The tall lady was very loud he voice was very jarring when I decided to approach the manager about the situation with the toilet asking her name he gave me a fake name I found it out tho because I'm sure this isn't what she promised during her interview and you just may never know who's a secret shopper or who's not . I will never return here nor any other location. Hope this review was helpful eat and dime at your own risk. I heard the employee w the all pink hair state the ice maker needed to be cleaned up had mold in it..I'm good I won't return I see why a lot of small...
Read moreMy first time trying Taco John’s. Their website said they had a full menu all day. I arrived, ordered from the menu board behind the counter, and was told they only had breakfast available because they had just opened, but they would have the full menu in a couple weeks. So I ordered a breakfast item from their small menu (four items!). It was 11 bucks. I briefly considered handing over $5 and claiming that since they had just opened, I didn’t have my full wallet (although I planned to have it with me in a couple weeks!), but I decided to leave that sarcasm for my review. The issue is not with the employees – who were friendly, quick, and attentive – but with the management, who obviously rushed opening this location before it was ready to fully serve customers. Of course, being unprepared for transacting business is only permissible for the management/owners, never for the customers or the employees!
The food is an afterthought in my review because it's so obviously an afterthought at Taco John’s: for my 11 bucks I received a very small, microwaved breakfast burrito and a tub of dry tater tots with the consistency of sand bricks. I’ve had better food at gas stations. I slathered it all in hot sauce to make it edible, and left feeling both hungry and dissatisfied. For that price I could have eaten a real meal at a real cafe, which is what I plan do in the future rather than returning to...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to the Taco John's located in West Allis. While attempting to place an order through the drive-thru, I had questions regarding the menu items. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed uncertain and was corrected by a female colleague in the background. Upon pulling up to the window, I was greeted by the same woman, who attempted to clarify the menu item in question. However, her demeanor was unprofessional and confrontational.
In an effort to resolve the issue, I parked and entered the establishment to review the menu board. Regrettably, the same woman approached me at the counter, displaying visible frustration. I requested to speak with a manager, and she claimed to be the person in charge. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she directed me to the drive-thru window, implying that the information was posted there. She then walked away, refusing to assist me further.
Another employee informed me that I needed to leave the premises. I was dismayed by the unprofessionalism and rudeness displayed by the staff. I hope that in the future, the West Allis Taco John's will take steps to ensure that customers receive respectful and courteous service. Until then I urge anyone to not spend their money there. Your...
