Fresh food, clean environment & friendly customer service. I would have rated it 5 stars except I was dining in & could hear the manager/supervisor from all the way where I was sitting in the dining room yelling, belittling & hollering at her employees (you read that correctly, the manager/supervisor was definitely a woman). After finishing my meal I was taking my tray to the proper receptical & glanced over the counter towards the kitchen area where I couldn't help but notice what had once been a team of happy, efficient, helpful & happy employees upon my arrival had quickly transformed into sad, unsure, self-conscious & unmotivated individuals due to the obvious lack of encouragement & praise that was offered by their team leader or manager. I felt welcomed & well cared for when I entered this place of business but by the time I left I couldn't help but feel uncomfortably sorry & discouraged for this team of hard working employees which of whom seemed to struggle the approval of their leader. I heard her nasty comments & impossible instructions being barked at her employees so clearly I drove home with tears in my eyes. This crew made me feel like I was in my own home or that of a close friend or family member when I walked in (the manager must have been out for her hourly smoke break at that time) but that mood changed the entire restaurants mood as quickly as she had walked back on.
Ina nutshell, great crew, awesome food but very, very, very poor management!
Wendy's, please revise your leadership skills & desicions. I ran into Wendy's to order my significant other and myself some food I received a unusual verbal request "hamburger no cheese" I'm thinking ita a burger your not going to get cheese on a hamburger...he says if you order it this way it's a 50/50 chance you wont get cheese. I'm thinking....man your out of your mind so I ordered the burger "NO CHEESE PLEASE" we open our food sure enough the burger that was ordered without cheese had a fresh slice of cheese I specifically ordered it without cheese!
Working in a fast food chain is not easy it's hard to deal with people and their specific needs, personalities etc and on top of that work in a hot greasy close quarters environment. Only one guy on your crew had a smile on his face and positive attitude and encouraging customers to have a great day the other team mate looked like i was bothering her I even smiled at her and asked how her day was she wanted no positive energy...do your employees hate the job so much they actually make the orders wrong on purpose? This isnt the first time this has happened in fact I travel on the road a lot and this story could be told cross country at any Wendy's. Your company is headed in the wrong direction. Very disappointed and I hope that positive team member finds a positive crew to work with he was your most valuable asset.
Remember this is supposed to be fast food not let's redo the order every single time. I hate writing...
   Read morePoor customer service my last 2 times here. I traveled from Hustisford to this location and the 2nd to last visit was confronted by the younger female cashier on a busy day, and told before she even said hello that we may have over a half hour wait depending what my girlfriend, her daughter, and myself ordered. Basically she told us that we would not be able too be served in a promptly manner. The drive thru was backed up into the parking lot so I'm assuming someone called in, or it was a bad day which we all have. However to confront a customer before greeting them and saying hello, I felt was very rude. The last visit I had, I got my order in the drive thru and was given the wrong meal and unfortunately didn't notice til I was already halfway home. That was my mistake for not checking the bag, especially after having 1 previous bad visit here. I called to let a manager know, and when the female employee answered I was told that there currently was no manager on duty to make my complaint with, and was asked too call back. I didn't bother, and I don't mean to go on a negative rant like I despise this place because I don't. Unfortunately I believe the place just needs someone to come in and clean house of the negative employees that are rushing orders, or not caring about customer service! On a positive note, I have had other stops at this Wendy's in the past, and never had these problems and my spicy chicken sandwich was always in the bag, or on my tray...
