Love Again Local — Restaurant in West Chester

It breaks my heart to write this review, as I’m very much so a regular. I eat here minimum once a week. I’ve held back writing this review the last few times I ordered food but today just takes the cake. As for the last few times, I pay $2 for extra bacon (which is robbery in itself), but I don’t mind because it’s delicious. The last FOUR times I’ve ordered my turkey club, I paid the extra $2 for bacon and it NEVER came with extra. If anything, it appears to come with less than what I’d get if I didn’t pay extra. So upsetting. This particular time, I ordered over the phone, which I never do. I made sure to say no sauce, no cheese & extra bacon. My sandwich came out with EXTRA SAUCE. There was sauce on literally every slice of bread. 4 pieces of bread with sauce on it. I cried so hard. I had to throw the whole thing away. Of course love again local was closed by the time I realized my order was wrong. I ended up having to order food elsewhere. I’m so upset with the inconsistency of the same exact sandwich I’ve gotten for the last year. Legit everytime I order it, it’s made different. Placed order online it wasn’t simple and took about 30 minute to work through the online order. Had food delivered to Chester county hospital, the delivery person shared his irritation with me, about me , because he said I was not aloud to deliver to hospital main entrance? Didn’t pay him any attention, now to the food. Food arrived quickly, well packaged. Wow Amazing amazing amazing. Very large sandwich. Ate half for lunch and ate the other half for dinner. Fully and deeply satisfying. Hands down the best vegan toasted bread sandwich I have had the pleasure of eating. When placing the order I called and spoke to person working at the restaurant and they were friendly and accommodating I forget why I needed to talk to them. I Also ordered bag of chips and cookie it was delish. This was several months ago but I just went on here to hopefully have delivery to Wayne and I am outside of delivery territory. I wanted to leave this review because places to eat such Love again Local are rare and hard to come by. I have been looking forward to trying this place and so glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered two sandwiches - the Italian (my cousin vinny) and cheesesteak, and had half of each one for dinner. Both were outstanding! the Italian was just like a real Italian sub - and the flavors were were great with a little spice. The cheesesteak texture was really great, and the bread was soft and perfect for the sandwiches. In addition I had the pasta salad - which had a great sauce, and the 3 cookie variety pack - I tried the peanut butter chocolate dipped - and it was nice and soft - perfect peanut butter flavor and great pairing with the chocolate. I ordered online for pickup - and they have a rack in the front of the store with my order all packed and ready. The guy I spoke to was super friendly and nice.
