Some background on me: I work in customer service. I have been going to Chik Fil A since they OPENED stores in the area. I have gone to the Azusa & Vincent locations for YEARS. I am a Signature Chik Fil A One Member annually. I know the Operator Carlos for the Glendora & Vincent location & this one is operated by Danny. I give hundreds of dollars in revenue to Chik Fil A. With that said, this location needs to shape up. I have now had TWO negative experiences at this location. Both times, the customer service was terrible.
In this instance at 11:35 AM, May 19th, (Store # 04752). I spoke with Manager Liz. I explained they missed a Sandwich on my order. It was not on the receipt but I had asked for another Sandwich. I explained how I have had multiple negative experiences with the Azusa location as well including when they did NOT give back my credit card. I asked Liz if the speakers don't work on the Drive Thru because this is now the 2ND TIME I get an order wrong. Liz responds by saying, "We're not affiliated with the Azusa location. We can't do anything to control them..." then she states, "Yeah the speakers are really loud cause we're by the freeway." Then she also states, "I don't know if this is a corporate or franchise location. We are owned by Operators". Finally, she says, "Sorry about your order. Let me charge you the other sandwich".
NUMBER ONE: I understand these are two separate stores. That is not the correct response. You SHOULD have said, "I apologize for the experiences sir, I can't control what happened at the other store but here is what I can do at this store:". Instead of making it seem like you are debating me on whether the two stores are affiliated.
NUMBER TWO: How does the speakers being loud do anything???? Shouldn't that mean you guys HEAR better then? If they're loud???!! Again, terrible response.
NUMBER THREE: How do you, as a manager, not know whether a location is a franchise or corporate owned???? It's a simple question that virtually any manager i've ever known has known the answer to.
NUMBER FOUR: No complaints. I'm not someone who cares about free items. I don't mind she charged me & at the very least she offered an apology. I commend her on this part. But from the beginning, she should've started like that instead of saving it until the end when she moved on. Seemed half-hearted & not sincere.
Now, I called Corporate. Spoke with rep. Michelle. She was helpful, made me feel like I was heard & my complaint was taken seriously. THAT is how customer service should be done. She documented my complaint & hopefully this leadership turns it around. Because if not, I will continue to give my business to the Vincent location as they have NEVER given me bad customer service whenever...
Read moreIt is a typical Chick-fil-A establishment. This one is located across the street, from Eastland Center in West Covina. It is located in the building of what used to be Hooters. I came here, several times, in the beginning of 2024, when I worked in the area, and I had my lunch break. During the time, when I would come, between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, the lines were not long, and they were moving quite fast. Furthermore, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was neat. Of course, the meals too were delicious, and well-made. The prices, too, were not on the expensive side. Definitely, if anyone is in the area of West Covina, I would recommend a visit to this...

So, during my lunch break, it was around 12:30 PM, the line in the establishment was non-existent. The staff members, too, were courteous and helpful. Furthermore, inside, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. At the same time, the place was tidy. If my memory serves me well, I have ordered a chicken burger combo. It was delicious, since I have enjoyed it. Also, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side.
