Let me start by saying I work in all of aspects of cannabis and own restaurants in different parts of the globe. Must be 21+ to enter. Visited on a Thursday early afternoon by myself. It was nice and quiet with maybe 4 other tables besides mine. Design and atmosphere are top notch. This is not your typical stoner cafe. There’s a modern, hip feel without being pretentious. The patio has a calming vibe and was the perfect reset after a hectic day. You can order wine or beer but from the bar area. You order your cannabis off menu (outside products not allowed) anywhere and pay for that as its own item. Food and non alcoholic beverages can be ordered as well. The system may seem weird to but it’s all to ensure compliance. I ordered a pre roll pack from that was $62 with taxes and fees. 4 gram pack I believe split into 10 joints. The quality of the cannabis was actually pretty good. Note that you should not believe the THC level % on menu. California tends to skew info on the high end. Either way the joints were good. I ordered the grill cheese with tomato soup and a bottle of mexican coke cola. The meal, the joint and the sun peaking through the trees was perfect. Service was great. Waitress was friendly and happy to answer all of my questions regarding the operation and experience. You should be aware that I went when it was super chill. Evenings seem to be very busy with reservations recommended. Highly recommend you to check this out if you are a cannabis enthusiast or even just someone who likes to check out new experiences while traveling. I will 100% be back as soon as I land again in LA.

This café offers a variety of THC-infused drinks that were pretty enjoyable and added a unique twist to the experience. However, I was expecting the food to be infused with THC as well, but the menu only features regular, non-infused items. For those interested in cannabis products, they do offer pre-rolls, bongs, and edibles available for purchase, though these are cash-only transactions. We decided to try the carne asada tacos, which were decent, but honestly, they didn’t stand out too much—just your average street tacos. The place was bustling with customers, so the food came out at a standard pace—not too quick, but not excessively slow either. The service, unfortunately, was where the experience faltered a bit. When we first sat down, our server didn’t immediately notice us, so there was a slight delay in getting acknowledged. Although the service was slower than expected, I could understand that the café being crowded might have contributed to this. The silver lining was that our server was extremely friendly and considerate, making up for the initial delay by offering us a complimentary dessert, which definitely improved our mood and ended the experience on a positive note.

Does not live up to the hype. Kiki, the hostess was an absolute doll. And the patio is simply gorgeous. They were the best part of the experience. You have to tip the budtender after every interaction. That seems a little excessive to me. The brussel sprouts are bomb! The avocado and pea toast looked great but the peas were hard and threw off the texture and made the toast really unappealing. We waited almost 45 minutes for an order of fries while watching other orders come out that had french fries included. The worst part of the experience was they send you the link for a rideshare that doesn't work and will authorize your trip five times! When I told the other Hostess about the situation, I had been charged $60 by this app, she rolled her eyes and said basically "I hope that works out for you" with a hand gesture that indicated it was not her problem. The manager was nowhere to be found to respond to any of my concerns. Again, the patio was super chill and it was very nice to be outside and able to smoke without feeling any judgment or worry. I think every smoker should try a CannaCafe at least once. Because after the novelty factor, it's just not worth it.

Let me preface by saying, my friends and I came to this establishment twice this month. And both times the food was excellent but the service was the one of the worst service I’ve experienced.

The first time was for my birthday and when I called to confirm the “fee” they charge you to smoke your own weed - the person said “its $25 per two people, even if you have a party of 5 or more” (keep in mind their menu states $50 for a party of 5 or more) when we get there we are only charged $25 for the entire table of 6, which was great but confusing, since my friend called after I did and was quoted the $50. The service was friendly but they all gave us different information, the staff arent on the same page, its very noticeable.

Second experience we went for our friends bday and for a table of 7, the waitress made way too many errors to brush off… As someone who has waited tables before, this was very surprising to see how little care they took. One of our orders was entirely late/forgotten for an hour, so we ended up telling them to just cancel it and to take it off our bill. They also forgot a dessert and 3 drinks, nachos (which the waitress claims she never heard us ask for WHEN WE REMEMBER HER ASKING US IF IT WAS STEAK OR CHICKEN…) and wings. Eventually after getting our waitress’ attention (which takes a long time because they disappear a lot) we reminded her of our orders and she managed to get the kitchen to only bring us the wings and nachos. The three lattes we ordered WHEN WE SAT DOWN never reached our table even after 2 hours of sitting there. The same waitress was saying she would take it all off our bill but didnt! She left one latte on the bill and whats even more frustrating is that SHE NEVER SHOWED US A PAPER RECEIPT FOR THE BILL OF $347 and swiped my card then gave me the receipt after the fact. I went to ask for a refund on the drink we never received and this grown woman tells me she cant find the manager and its a “whole thing” to refund me at all and she would take the money from her TIPS to give to me. In the end i said no because the point was to pay for what we consumed and not to take her tips. MIND YOU… she never even offered me the drink to go instead. This same lady also told us the fee to smoke our weed was $50 for the table, which was fine. Just remember guys, it depends on the waiter since they dont have real set rules in this place.

Never coming back or recommending this restaurant to anyone, based on the service its embarrassing itself...

On Sunday the 25th, my friends and I had reservations & we were actually really looking forward to it since we had gone a couple weeks back and had a decent experience. Unfortunately, they couldn't even offer a decent experience this time. Our waitress, whose name I did not catch (maybe it was busy) brought us water about 30 minutes after we were sat. While at first we thought it might've just been her being a bit frazzled since we heard another table sort of going off on her we decided to overlook that. She took our orders even repeated it back and we waited. There were 7 of us and by the time the food came out I was the only one missing en entree. We couldnt tell anyone until someone else started taking plates and we asked him if he could check on the rest of our food. We were missing an entree, an appetizer (for which she asked what kinda meat we wanted) a milkshake and 3 drinks. After we told the man cleaning up our plates our waitress came and asked if everything was okay (this was probably around another 30 minutes after food arrived bc everyone else was almost finished with their plates) we let her know we'd cancel my entree and just stick with the app and drinks we were missing. She laughed and said it was "her bad" bc she missed the second appetizer we asked for. Finally, we asked her about the lattes and she said she'd take them off the bill. We initially thought she meant she'd bring us the lattes free of charge until another 30 minutes went by and nothing came out and we decided she just meant she'd take them off our bill so she didn't have to put the order in and bring them. We let it go up until we saw she charged us for one of the lattes on our bill. When we brought it to her attention she let us know that she couldn't refund us since her manager was gone (despite us seeing the manager deal with other unhappy customers about 45 minutes before) and she offered to give us the $6 from her tips. We obviously didn't want to take from her own tips. Overall it was a terrible experience which is unfortunate because we were celebrating our...

Opening night of Lowell Cafe was legitimately magical. We were fortunate enough to have managed to get reservations which helped us skip the massive line outside. Highly recommend reservations my friends - some of the ppl waiting in line had already been there for hours before we arrived! The place itself has been very thoughtfully decorated - neon lights, lots of green (from the wall paint to all the various hanging and sitting plants), to the "mugshots" and celebrity stoner pictures hanging on the walls. The Cafe definitely eminates a chill vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed!!!

Each table has two servers: one for food and one for cannabis. The menu contains a lot of munchie favorites: jalapeno mac and cheese balls, corn dogs, vegan nachos, wings, burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes. But I gotta be honest, the food was pretty mediocre. The best thing we had was the brussel sprouts which were roasted crispy and combined with parm cheese, garlic etc. Other than that appetizer, the rest of the snack items were rather on the bland side. The Mac n cheese balls had no spice or flavor of jalapeno at all. The wings were not crispy and needed to be cooked longer and flavored more. I had the smash burger as an entree - the meat itself was cooked well and had good flavor but the sandwich as a whole was a little on the bland side.

As for the cannabis, they offer a selection of pre-rolled joints, bud, wax etc. The prices are definitely higher than at a normal dispensary and even though their website says that they require cash to buy these items, we were able to use our cards instead. If you want to bring your own cannabis to Lowell Cafe, there is an additional $20 per person fee.

Despite the finances (which I had expected anyway going into the night), it was a truly awesome experience. The servers were friendly and accommodating! There were some opening day hiccups which were expected but nothing too concerning that detracted from the awesome experience. I can't wait to come back soon and look forward to Lowell Cafe elevating their food game a bit...
