We really enjoyed the comedy. For real. Our chairs where higher than the table by the bar area. I felt 6.5 feet tall as did my husband. We where approached by the bus boy with water service . The person who did the job was given our order of seltzer with lemon but never returned. We did not know who was who for about 15 mins. He did the same when clearing. Started then stopped. But he was very polite. I had to ask my husband was someone here or what . We could not recall if imagined or real. So we started to point and guess. "He's thin and blond...no he was dark hair...whatever it was the guy with the dad body"
They are all new and the guy hosts needs to smile more . This is not NYC but it is West Palm and definitely not the Island. . Leave the birkin home...noone is giving you a stool to place your hand bag.
But the real reason to go is the food!! As a NYC Italian we ate sh@#t Italian from Miami to P a lm Beach.
This was great. Do not believe any resturant that says the pasta is freshly made. But I think this place does. In this case it tasted as if where. Delicious. Our Serbian server was pleasant and funny (and was very nice about Croatia).
Dress casual but nice I only saw one tramp stamp.
Go for the food. The others your hotel mention are faux Italian. Tremini however does a good job..
Gnocchi was nearly perfect as was my husband's dish of pasta. Next we will try some meat or fish. Fyi we don't cook and eat out 5 days a week. So we have tasted all in Palm Beach.. and at 50 yrs old I was frozen in the place, bring a jacket . Expensive I guess but def...not nyc expensive. We spent 145 not a lot.. Go before the the economy implodes and they go after tips of...
Read moreWe have dined at this restaurant a few times and just love it- it’s a new neighborhood favorite for us. We enjoyed Christmas Eve so much so that we returned for New Year’s Eve. Everything has a tasteful simplicity to it. The menu isn’t overly complicated- starter highlights for us are the eggplant parmigiana and ricotta. The pasta dishes range from classics to innovative- all expertly executed. We shared the Lobster Ravioli special on New Year’s Eve that was sublime. I wish they’d include it on the regular menu. It had a lighter sauce -rather than the usual cream one- that placed skilled emphasis on the generous lobster meat filling itself. The meat and fish in the main dishes are high quality. We love the baked Branzino and the NY sirloin with truffle. The wine list is thoughtfully considered and interesting. The Super Tuscan by the glass is my go-to. The cocktails are great and include a nice range of Italian Amaros. The pistachio torte is a must try for dessert, if you have space for it. The room itself is nicely designed in cognac and greens and offers a variety of seating options. There are charming small booths in the dining room and table seating where you don’t feel like you’re on top of your neighbors. The staff and management are all accommodating and highly professional. One of the most important aspects of dining here for us is that we know we can enjoy a consistently well executed meal in a charming environment with...
Read moreWe recently celebrated a friends birthday at Felice, an upscale Italian restaurant in downtown West Palm Beach. Here's an honest breakdown of our experience:
The ambiance was absolutely stunning—cozy, classy, and perfect for a special celebration. The vibe made the entire evening feel elevated and memorable. The service was exceptional! Our server was kind, attentive, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Definitely a 10/10 for both ambiance and service.
While the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the beautiful setting and stellar service. The menu offerings were basic, with nothing that stood out or wowed us. For the price point, the flavor and creativity could have been better. It felt like the ambiance was the real star of the show.
Chicken Parmesan – good, but nothing extraordinary. -Truffle pasta with white sauce and chicken – creamy, and amazing. Burger with fries – simple tasting if they're going to have a burger on the menu they should have killed it. it was underwhelming. Ambiance: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 6/10
Felice is a great choice for a celebration or a fancy night out, especially if you're looking for a stunning atmosphere and top-notch service. However, if you’re primarily seeking an exceptional culinary experience, this might not be the place. Your paying for the vibe and its not over the top. Overall, we had a wonderful time celebrating and left with lots of...
