Anthropologie sprang from a project by Richard Hayne and Scott Belair for a business class they were taking at the Warton Business School. After opening Urban Outfitters, Hayne worked on the Anthropologie concept of clothes targeted to 30 to 45-year-old women. The first Anthropologie store opened in 1992 in a refurbished automobile shop in Wayne, Pennsylvania. In 2009 they launched their first international store in London, England. Today there are over 200 stores around the world and they also operate an online store.
I found this Anthropologie store next to where I was having lunch in Rosemary Square in West Palm Beach. Anthropologie sells clothing, accessories, home and decor, furniture, beauty, holiday, and gifts. The buyers from Anthropologie travel the world to find artists and collaborators for their globally influenced inventory.
This is the perfect place to find a statement piece to update your wardrobe I love the charming and sophisticated clothes at Anthropologie but everything is triple digits. My favorite finds this trip was a delicate floral top and beautiful initial mugs perfect for gifts and on sale...

At first we thought nothing of it, but they would not look away and ACTUALLY stared at us, laughing and whispering until we left. We were going to ask them a question about one of their items but we were so uncomfortable we had to leave. We will not be returning. I donāt know about the other locations but this staff was honestly so rude for absolutely no reason. I wouldnāt spend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was initially thrilled to shop at the newly-built West Palm store. However, my excitement quickly turned to discomfort as I spent a few minutes inside. The employees were staring and talking about other customers through their headsets, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we could hear them. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. I felt stared at and whispered about the entire time, particularly by the lady with short blonde hair working at the front register. She continuously talked about customers through her headset while I was there. It's disappointing to encounter such negative energy in a store that otherwise has cute items....
